5 Stars Spectacular!
Use beads with typical and special needs children in regular and adapted form. Kids just love them (starting at age 2).

5 Stars More than lacing..
Purchased for my 2 year old…..we have not only used it as suggested but found many other ways to play with the beads. We roll them across the table to each other, separate them into color groups, shape groups, etc and we stack them.

5 Stars A classic for good reason
My two year old son loves everything Melissa and Doug and the lacing beads did not disappoint. This toy has many educational uses; he loves making patterns and stacking the beads like blocks. He is building his fine motor skills and working on problem solving (how to get the string through the hole without it falling out, which even led to a discussion on gravity.) The beads are well made and the wooden box they come in stores everything very neatly. A great product at a great price!

5 Stars Lacing beads
The lacing beads can be used to improve sequencing skills, to promote recognition of colors and shapes and to increase fine motor coordination skills. Is an excellent investment for everyone!

5 Stars Engaging, Simple Toy – But NOT for Under 2’s!
I love this toy – and my 22-month-old twins do as well. I would just caution that the two smallest beads, while the size of very small plums, are still just small enough that they could get lodged in your toddler’s mouth if they were inclined to try to get the whole thing in. I wouldn’t trust my kids with this toy unsupervised for at least a few months yet (or will only let them play with the half of the beads that are substantially larger.

Perfection

Perfection

Even adults will be challenged by attempting to fit all 25 pieces into place before the 60-second alarm sounds. These complex geometric shapes need to be matched with the appropriate hole before the whole tray pops up and sends them flying in an explosion of yellow plastic. Any number of kids can take turns trying to beat the clock, and then to beat each other’s best times. For younger children who are still learning to recognize shapes, the game can be played without the time pressure. Kids will soon develop speed and accuracy so much they’ll want to take on Mom and Dad. –Lynne Sampson

4 Stars Perfection
great toy! used for Special needs children. teaches great fine motor skills as well as academic.

5 Stars Great fun for the entire family
I bought this game for my 9 yr. old nephew and he loves it. I remember having so much with this game when I was a kid and it has not lost its appeal. It quickly become the most popular game in my sister’s home.

4 Stars Fun for kids over 5
My daughter had this game years ago and loved it. I purchased it for my grandson, 4 years old and he liked it but didn’t have the patience for it. I suspect he will enjoy it more a bit later. All in all, I would recommend it for children 5 and over. If you have a crawling little one in the house, be careful that all the pieces get picked up and put back in their slot (back of game) as they could easily be a choking hazard.

5 Stars Love Perfection!!!
I bought this for my kids and find that this is still the great game I remember from my childhood!! You set the timer and try to fit all the differently shaped pieces into their adequate spaces BEFORE the time dings and the pieces all jump back out their holes. Sounds simple and easy but it is a lot of fun. We had some family visiting during the holidays and I believe everyone from age 5 to 51 played it at least once!! The kids just love to beat the adults. You just have to be careful not to lose any of those little pieces!

5 Stars One of the classics
When our kids got this oldie but goodie this year, it was a struggle for me not to tear it out of their hands to play first! I loved this game as a kid, and now our children are discovering how much fun it is too. I love that it does NOT need batteries, the entire game is lightweight, and the pieces are sturdy *just look out if the dog gets one of them after they pop up! The race to match each piece to its home before the timer runs out and the gameboard jumps up at you is enough to keep old and young alike in stitches. We did a few rounds with everyone at the table this holiday and there wasn’t a loser in the bunch, we all cheered each other on! The little ones are loving that they’re challenging their coordination skills, and the adults are realizing how easily distracted we can get when the clock is ticking. A perfect family game. Enjoy.

This is great quality and very durable. My son has had a lot of fun using it.

5 Stars Simple toy for young children
This toy is great for young toddlers, large bright colored pieces. Can be used to teach colors, shapes and stringing different pieces together. A good way to entertain an youngster.

4 Stars Great learning toy
My two year old grandson loves these beads. They are great for working on eye/hand coordination. A couple of the smallest beads could be a choking hazard, as is the string, but we just watch him closely while he uses them.

Crocodile Dentist

April 24th, 2009

Crocodile Dentist

Poor old croc has a tooth that’s bothering him; pretend to be a dentist to help him out. Press the wrong tooth and he’ll surprise you. With no loose parts and exciting snapping jaws, this is one game that will thrill toddlers and primary schoolers alike. No batteries required.

5 Stars Delightful Dentist
So far I have purchased 5 of these cute little snappers. I have 7 grandchildren from the ages of 7 months to four years. All of them like to take a chance against this snapping dentist, (okay, the youngest just tries to grab it). I have put 2 away for gifts for my other grandmother friends. It’s always a laugh and the best part is no batteries. I couldn’t find this toy locally but Amazon has such prompt delivery that I was able to get them quickly. My 2 daughters work with special needs children and they have used this toy with such success during their therapy sessions that is another reason I ordered more of them.

3 Stars Fun for toddlers
We bought this for a long road trip. My toddlers loved playing with it but I had to keep putting it back together. It is two pieces (top of mouth is one and bottom of mouth is another) and it does come apart pretty easily.

4 Stars Cute!
Bought this for my 3 yr old boy, but my 6 yr old boy likes playin with it too. My younger boy is a little afraid of the mouth snapping shut but still likes to play with it. They did figure out that the tooth that causes the mouth to close is harder to push so its easy to cheat. So we made a rule that once you touch it, you gotta push it! :) I would recommend this toy, its fun.

5 Stars *
Played game with 4 year old students- they loved it. It kept them guessing and were surprised every time.

4 Stars Exciting Kid Toy
I could sense the heart pumping excitement builds up every time my 4 year old play this game. He knows 1 mistake and the crocodile will grab his little fingers. You play it by pushing down 1 tooth of the croc for each person’s turn. Each time you set the game, the tooth that will make the mouth closes is selected at random. The croc’s mouth closes but is not that hard enough to hurt their fingers. 2 or more players. Does not require batteries to operate.

I have seen this toy for years, it is a classic. This is a great toy in a dentist’s waiting area.
