5 Stars classic board game
great classic game from my own childhood. Bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas and all 3 of my kids (4,6,7) love playing it. Great new features make it more interesting.

2 Stars buzzer does not work
I bought two of these, for my grandchildren. I am very disappointed to hear that neither work, the buzzer is broken.

3 Stars Makes kids happy
My 8 year old niece wanted this toy. I got her as a birthday present. A silly toy, but she really enjoys it. Well it fulfills the use for what it was made, i.e. make children enjoy. Looking at the built, I think it’s a little expensive.

5 Stars Always fun – matter your age
I got this game as a gift after having not played it for years. It is just as fun now as ever. If you have kids that you want to introduce to a game that you used to love, this is the one to get for them. They will love it, and it will probably bring back a lot of fond memories for you too!

It doesn’t come with batteries, so make sure you have some on hand so you can play right away!

4 Stars Old Game – Still Fun
I played this game as a child and now my Grandson and I enjoy playing it together. It’s fun and good for hand/eye coordination

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Best Doctor Kit!
Highly recommend! My daughter plays with it everyday for the past 4 months. Love the sound effects!

5 Stars Excellent doctors kit!
What a great product! We started out with the cheap $10 doctors kit.. but since my daughter was so into playing doctor, we decided to buy this kit for her for Christmas – she is 2.5 years old. She LOVES it!

She absolutely loves how the pager, phone and stethoscope make noises. I’m not to fond of the coughing coming out of the stethoscope, but she doesnt seem to mind (I think they could have just done the heart beat).

There are a lot of pieces to this doctors kit! They fit in the box (which has latches on it to keep it closed properly), and the quality is pretty good of the items.

Very good doctors kit for kids – highly recommend it. My daughter loves to play with it.. and we get examined a lot in this household :)

4 Stars Doctor set
This toy quickly became a favorite for my grand daughter. There are lots of pieces for her to play with.

4 Stars Overall a good Dr.’s Kit
Some of the items are a bit cheap, but my daughter has enjoyed playing with the kit, and I am glad that I purchased it for her.

5 Stars Great Doctors Kit
My daughter is 3 1/2 and loves to play with her doctors kit. There are a lot of pieces to the kit and we have not been able to find any comparable toy in any local store. So for us, this is the best around. However, for the $$ we were slightly disappointed that the cell phone does not work. It appears to have a defect. Other than that, great educational toy.

Learning Resources Time Tracker

January 1st, 2010

Learning Resources Time Tracker

It’s never been easier or more fun to keep kids on track with this unique lighted electronic timer. Lighted sections alert kids to time left to complete a task. You can easily program green, yellow and red sections and six sound effects to indicate that time is running out. It teaches time management! Features 180 viewing, large, easy-to-read LCD display, volume control and pause feature. Measures 9″ tall. Requires adapter (LER 2901) or 4 “AA” batteries (not included).

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Perfect, and effective way to do time out
The only down fall was I could not open the back where the bateries go so now it is taped shut.

3 Stars Good Timer – Not User Friendly
Purchased the timer to help our 2, 5 and 7 year old kids get better and timing getting ready in the morning, brushing teeth and anything else we can use it for. It works great when you finally get the settings done. Having to read the instruction manual every time to set the times is a pain. I guess we will get used to it eventually.

They could do a much better job at adding a better timer setting option.

I would recommend this timer.

2 Stars Good while it worked
After about our third set of batteries, the whole display is lit up and no buttons work. I called the manufacturer and they said to return it through Amazon, but that is only for 30 days. It lasted us about 3-4 months. We loved the functionality and it stopped our daughter from constantly asking us when her time would be up. We did burn through the batteries with the lights constantly on while using it.

3 Stars Works great for my kids
The time tracker works great. I use it to let my kids know when it is okay to get up from the dinner table. The only problem is it is hard to figure out how to change the time even with using the manual.

1 Star Time Tracker didn’t last
Bought one for myself, one for a friend and one for my daughter’s class. All three worked fine at first, then quit working. Mine lasted the longest – 5 months.

Fisher Price ESPN Better Batter Baseball

December 4th, 2009

Fisher Price ESPN Better Batter Baseball

Innovative tee-free design helps kids keep their eye where it should be when they’re learning to bat-on the ball, not the tee! This batting trainer makes learning to hit the ball fun and easy. Just tap the plate and the mechanical arm automatically loads a ball! Sound effects, baseball “chatter” and ESPN music add to the fun. Height adjustable for peewees to preschool pros. Includes bat and three balls. Requires three “C” batteries, not included. Measures approximately 24″H.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars It’s a hit!
OK, my son is not within the reccomended age for this toy, he got it for his 2nd birthday and LOVES LOVES LOVES this!!! Yes the velcro is super sticky, but I will take that over non sticky velcro. My son just takes an extra swing or 2 at the ball. He understood exactly what he was supposed to do from the beginning and needs no help playing this, much to his older brother and sister’s diappointment. The ball loader has taken quite a few hits already (he IS only 2 LOL) and so far is holding up just fine.

My 6 year old daughter, who just started T-ball, is itching to try this as well so hopefully I can add on to this review with her experience.

5 Stars My 3 year old nephew LOVES this!
My 3 year old nephew loves baseball and when he saw the commercial on TV for this he looked at his grandma and said “I’m going to get me one of those grams.” So of course we ordered it for his 3rd birthday. He loves it and will one day be in the major leagues! I have a feeling the velcro will eventually lose it’s stick on the balls, but it would be easy to replace. I recommend this to anyone who has a child who loves baseball.

3 Stars More Flash than Function
My son (5) really enjoys it, but i can’t help but wonder how this is better than a “T” as used in his games. I am pretty sure that the velcro balls won’t last too long especially when they start to get dirty and because you can’t use a real bat and real ball with it, it really doesn’t mimic real play situations very well.

It is nice that we can load the three balls up and not have to fiddle with putting a ball on the “T” after each hit and he loves the recorded sounds it makes but I think we might have been better batters and better off with a real “T”.

3 Stars Tons of fun but not top quality
We have played with our Better Batter Baseball and loved it so much. I have two boys ages 4 and 2 who cannot get enough of it. However the arm got stuck in mid-position which means the toy will not work. Amazon has been great about getting us a new one and it should arrive today. My hope is that we just got a bad one and that the new one will last years! We shall see.

5 Stars My children LOVE this toy!!!
I bought my children the better batter baseball over a month ago and have watched their batting skills improve greatly. I have 2 boys and a girl all under the age of 8 and the toy seems to be holding up well. The only downfall was when assembling the toy the instructions weren’t clear on which direction to put the base and we installed it incorrectly and had a heck of a time getting it apart to turn it around.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great Product
After reading the reviews, decided to pick up 2 of the laser guns for the kids for their birthday (7, 9 … girl, boy). Since opening, they’ve been playing it all weekend. I’ve even gotten caught up in it. Very well made, solid, really cool sound effects and feedback (strength meter, ammo meter, different force feedback when firing shotgun and rifle modes). I’m back online today to pick up 4 more guns. Forget the kids … our next get-together, the kids are watching a movie and the adults are playing 6-person laser tag in the dark. If you’re on the fence as to whether or not this is the one to purchase, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

5 Stars Great Quality!
LOVE THESE!!!! We got these guns for our boys (4 & 6) but my husband also loves to play. The target is the other gun so it’s nice to not have to worry about using a vest. We got a laser tag game with a vest before and it didn’t work very well. All in all, great quality! These have been hours of fun! The video game is a bit mature for our boys. We don’t let them play it so I can’t give a review on that.

5 Stars had for 6 months
This is a great toy, I have had it for 6 months now with no problems. My child is 11 and loves it.

5 Stars Heavy-duty and lots of fun. You won’t be disappointed!
Awesome product. They work well, lots of fun, and worth the money. I purchased 14 for the youth group I work with and we are getting hours of fun.

5 Stars Unbelievable Fun
The laser tag is loads of fun. It really is like two games in one with the t.v. video game for practice and the real time game with other laser tag guns. We had a blast using these and can’t wait until we can do it again. Like the sound effects and the visual lights to let you know when your are low on ammo or life. Like the option for team 1 or team 2 or solo players so that you can’t shoot your own team mates. Wish there was a local tag team group in our area so we could play laser tag with more people.
