Sony ICF C318 Automatic Time Set Clock Radio with Dual Alarm White

The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so you don’t have to re-set the clock. When Daylight Savings Time changes take place in the spring and fall each year, there is no need to adjust the clock because the built-in calendar recognizes the dates and automatically makes the proper time adjustments. Dual Alarms with Alarm Indicator permits two separate wake-up times with individual wake-up settings and confirms that the alarm has been activated to turn on at the pre-set time. Choose your own snooze time instead of being held captive by the short time intervals of other snooze times. Each press of the snooze button adds an additional 10 minutes to your total snooze time for up to a full hour of uninterrupted sleep. Dual Alarms with Alarm Indicators Extendable Snooze AM/FM Analog Tuner Built-in Calendar Frequency Range – AM 530-1710 kHz, FM 87.5-108 MHz Power Requirements – AC 120V, 60Hz Output Power – 120mW at 10% harmonic distortion Battery Life (Approx) – Up to 250 Days (with Sony battery) Speaker Dimensions – 2 5/8-inch (66mm) Dimensions – Width 6 1/8 x Height 3 5/16 x Depth 5 15/16 inch (155 x 82.8 x 151.5mm) Weight – 1 pounds 2 ounces (524 grams)

4 Stars Would give 5 if not for the battery
Arrived shiny new and cute. This little thing is decent and its double alarm function is well worth the money! Ajustable clock digit illumination just adds to its perfect design. I actually use the default(brightest) and it’s far from “too bright” at all. FM sound quality fairly acceptable, even “mono” mode for every station (due to a solo speaker).

The backup battery fails to keep the time on its arrival, which is the only reason for not giving the 5th star. Battery changed and it rocks!

All in all, Dream Machine, literally.

4 Stars Wake Up Call!
This is great item for the price. Claity is really good! Love it!!!!

5 Stars BUY IT
It’s a dual time set alarm clock with radio. You can set your snooze times and have an extra alarm to wake you if needed. For the money, you won’t find better any where local, unless you work at Sony.

3 Stars Not bad for the price
I recently bought this to replace one that always lost the time if there was a power outage. Even new backup batteries did not help.

Pros: Small, nice radio reception, time is already set, keeps time in case of power outage

Cons: You have to re-activate the alarm daily after turning it off in the morning. Not a good thing!

Setting the alarm with the button on the side requires two hands.

Overall not a bad alarm clock though (if you remember to activate the alarm again :) ).

2 Stars Nice but very quiet alarm
The radio works great as do the dual alarms. Everything works as you’d expect and makes common sense.

The only disappointment is that the alarm is very soft. There’s a high/low switch, but the difference between the 2 levels is almost imperceptible.

Other than the alarm it’s a nice clock radio.

5 Stars sony Auto time set clock radio
this clock radio is great. Easy to set, three different light settings for night time viewing, dual alarms, battery backup.

5 Stars Great Value
I’ve had my first clock for over a year, and recently bought a second for the guest room. The clock automatically sets the time. It also adjusts for daylight savings time appropriately. Digital read out readily visible, but not so bright that it illuminates the room at night. Primary use as a clock, since radio reception isn’t terrific, but for the price it is still a good value.

5 Stars Very Easy to Use.
I bought this for my wife. She hates complicated alarms and this is by far the easiest we have found. Multiple alarms are easy to switch between and changing the alarm time is easy. It comes preset. The backup battery should last a very long time. It is hard to screw this one up.

5 Stars Top choice alarm
This alarm clock has the right functionality. It is easy to use; and to maintain with AC adapter.

4 Stars Nice Little Clock Radio For The Price
Let’s just get to the bottom line, shall we? You can examine the other reviews for how this works, etc.; but I’m no technician.

Let me just say that it does work. It’s Fourteen bucks. It’s probably the best you’ll find for that kind of money. And certainly as accurate and easily set as you’ll find.

And just what do you need in a clock radio, anyway? Louder alarm must be considered; but sound quality? Don’t we all use another piece of electronics for most of our music? This ain’t no two-grand quadraphonic sound system; but it won’t hurt your tender ears, either. The main thing about this is that it sets itself and is very accurate, something all can’t lay claim to. To me, that’s what’s important.

Just a nice little clock radio for the price, that’s it.
