3 Stars It’s so tiny!
I love Plan Toys for their eco-friendly products and durability, so when I saw this drum set, I purchased asap. However, when the box came my husband and I laughed! It’s tiny! This set is only about a foot off of the ground! Our 3 year old has to sit indian style to play it! It’s great quality and has a great design, I would just warn that it’s not the somewhat “fullsized” drum set that the picture makes it look like.

5 Stars Great little drum set for toddlers!
My son received this for his second birthday and loves it. It is not loud, but has a nice sound. You won’t mind hearing it. It is compact, so it won’t clutter your floor. Small enough to even be considered portable. Wood is smooth, with non-toxic dye, not painted. Company is one of a few certified “E-Zero” companies. Love all their products. The pieces are easy to assemble, took less then 5 minutes to set up.

3 Stars I would say… its just OK
I bought this product since my daughter loves drums, cymbals, etc. The assembly was very easy. But the drums wouldn’t stay in place, till I followed some other reviewer’s advice…(thanks, BTW). Anyway, this doesn’t seem to hold my daughter’s attention for a long period of time. Also, the drums attract dust all the time, hence cleaning becomes a chore!

Also, exactly after a month of purchase, amazon dropped the price of this product to half of what I paid earlier.

cool. sturdy quality. Easy to put together and take apart. Kids enjoy. Not so large that it takes up too much space so it is very portable. My kids loved the cymbal & two drums.

This is a well designed kid-friendly camera that actually takes decent pictures. I highly recommend this over the Fisher-Price model.

My son 6 year old got this camera for Christmas and he loves it. It takes decent pictures and is very easy to use. He has taken it on vacation to Disney and it keeps him away from my digital camera. It does not have a lot of memory space but a cheap 2GB memory card will give them all the space they need. I also chose this camera over the Kid Tough Digital Camera because he is also able to play games on it making it a travel necessity.

4 Stars Great Camera for kids – gets their paws off yours!
I highly recommend this children’s camera. It’s the first one that finally diverted my 2.5yo’s attention off my own camera! A little too sophisticated for him, but he’s still under the recommended age (3y). I anticipate him to grow into it nicely.

1 Star Stopped working after 2 weeks
My son loved this toy for the 2 weeks that it worked. The down button stopped functioning after 2 weeks. Vtech has done nothing but give us the run around about getting it replaced. Way to stand behind your product!

My grandson got this camera for his second birthday and loves taking pictures… sometimes it’s feet but often they are excellent pictures. It was so easy and fun that we also got it for my grandaughter on her third birthday. The two year old loved showing his cousin how to use it! So glad we chose the V-tech product.

5 Stars My girls LOVE this!
I love Melissa and Doug. They have come up with some of the most creative toys around. My girls, age 3 and 2 both love this toy. The 2 year old is learning her colors and shapes, and the 3 year old likes to see how many she can do before she runs out of pieces. I would buy this again in a heart beat!

5 Stars fun and educational toy for 3-yr-old
My 3-yr-old nephew loved playing with this since he was 2. Learned shapes and colors, and his almost 2 yr old brother is learning fine motor skills with this toy as well.

I bought this for my son’s second birthday. He loved it and took to it right away. He spent over an hour on it the first time. He’s had it for a few weeks now and he sometimes pulls it out and asks to “make pictures”. He is so proud of himself when he fits the pieces in and when he completes a puzzle, he claps and cheers for himself. I had been wanting to get him a puzzle that is made up of basic shapes so this works well. I call out the names of the shapes as he puts them in and he repeats them. It’s also good for teaching colours. The only thing he sometimes has a problem with is the triangles, because they are not equilateral, so he has to turn them to fit them in. Sometimes he gets a little frustrated but I think it’s good he has a bit of a challenge – he’s learning to turn them so it’s an accomplishment when he fits them in. I love Melissa and Doug products. This as usual, is durable and attractive. There are more interesting puzzles in the box than what the picture shows – there is a train, fire truck, house, flowers, butterfly, dog, etc. I’m really glad I got this for him.

My 2 1/2 year plays with this alot. I love that it all stores nicely in the box it comes with. She knows all her shapes and I am sure this toy has helped.

5 Stars Great Educational Toy
I love this toy! We bought it for my oldest son for Christmas over 3 years ago, and now our youngest son loves it just as much. It is extremely durable~ well it has to be to survive 2 boys. A little paint has come off the edges of a few pieces, but that’s it. My oldest started learning shapes and colors while playing with this puzzle, and I am using it to reinforce what my other son has already learned. We have several peg/shaped puzzles, but this is the one that my youngest reaches for first.

This product is more educational tool than a toy. I have 3 and 5 years old kids and they love to play with it while they are learning counting, adding, and subtracting. This is a great product.

3 Stars unsteady base
The base on the abacus I got is badly warped. I will have to somehow build up a corner or edge to keep the abacus from rocking too much. I imagine this is not a common problem.

We bought this for our 3 year old, so that he can develop his counting skills – so far he has not shown much interest in using it for counting. But it seems like a sturdy and colorful abacus and we are hoping he’ll soon develop interest in using it.

I bought this for my friend’s daughter for her second birthday. According to my friend, her daughter opened it and immediately played with it for a full forty-five minutes. She loved it so much that before the week was out, she was saying “Good night, abacus!” along with good night to Mommy and Daddy.

3 Stars Not a real abacus
Although many reviewers tout this toy as highly educational, I find that beyond working on color recognition, fine motor skills, and simple counting, this toy is very limited because it is not a real abacus. Yes, it has beads on wires that you push back and forth, but it doesn’t have the right number of beads grouped together. There should be groups of two beads and five beads in a row–not 10 all together.
