Kent Super Scooter

Sturdy enough kids and parents alike, Kent’s Super Scooter offers hours of entertainment and fun rides around the park and neighborhood with no destination required. The scooter features 12-inch inflatable tires for a rugged and smooth ride that can handle a variety of surfaces. Equipped with real brakes–bicycle sidepulls, not just a difficult and awkward plate to step on and rub against the wheel–you can come to a complete stop quickly and easily when needed. Built like a bicycle, this sophisticated scooter offers real handlebars, a bicycle stem, spoked wheels, and a steel frame to create a solid vehicle.

5 Stars A great scooter for the country.
I got these Scooters for my sister’s children. They live in the country, of course on gravel roads, the scooters are prefect for out there. They love them… Great buy…

5 Stars Great Scooter for Pre-bike Kids
I bought these for my 8- and 5-yr old sons. Both mastered the steer-n-balance required in short time. Better than bikes because they can catch themselves quicker than if on bikes. Great product, but does require some adjustment to brakes to get short stops. Lays the foundation for bike riding, both have transitioned easily to bikes. Sturdy product, I’d ride double with my 5-yr old while he was learning brakes (250 lbs total?). I’m shopping for more Kent products now, I’m a fan. Get protective gear – we never had a problem, but…

5 Stars This scooter delivers
The Kent scooter lived up to my expectations. My 6 year old was having a hard time learning balance for riding a bike. So I went on a quest for a full sized scooter. None of the stores toy’srus, walmart, kmart or bike shops carried them, they said there was no demand or they stopped making them. All they had were those scooters with the little plastic wheels. I’ve seen lots of kids hit a crack and the front end jacked sideways and they feel down in a heap on those razor type scooters. The Kent scooter was 6.00 more than those pieces of junk on the net. Upon recieving the scooter (slow mail for free took about five day’s) assembly was a snap. It held up under my 6′ 230lb frame with the test drive. My daughter jumped on board and was scootin merrily along in no time. Within a matter of weeks she asked me to try the bike again and off she went first time without a hitch. She still rides the scooter now. You just can’t beat this scooter for the money. My friends upon seeing it asked where to get one for their children. Heck, you’d think I owned stock in the company from all this typing. No, just very pleased with the outcome and would highly reccomend this product to anyone looking for one.

3 Stars Axel Nuts Now Come with Protection
This is not a review so much as an update of information. My rating of three stars was done merely to locate this review near the one that complains of scrapes. Apparently, the manufacturer listened to that review: I received a unit yesterday (April 9, 2009) and found much to my delight that it came with plastic caps for the axel nuts.

5 Stars perfect for her age!
My daughter is 5 and it is perfect for her age – it should grow with her for another two years – at least. The handle brakes are good practice for when she moves up to a big-girl bike. The big tires make it easy for her to balance. The kick-stand is also very helpful. Great value too.

4 Stars Good Stuff
Got my 6 year-old grand-son this helmet and gel pads. Helmet was great … fit a little loose but covered all the parts…. and he loved it.

5 Stars Makes it easier for kids to be safe
My kids find so many of the safety items out there now days to be “uncool”. I was thrilled to find a helmet that my son would actually keep on his head while riding his bike and scooter and skateboard.

4 Stars Check the size
The helmet looks great and is quite robust. It’s too big for my 5-yr old though – my fault for not double-checking the product specs and instead relying on other customer reviews.

1 Star Looks cool, but too small
I got this for my 10 year old boy and it is way too small…………He did love the way it looked!

4 Stars light and airy
looks good p- feels good – BUT – he fell and broke his leg anyway !!!

Are you looking for a special gift that will surprise your child? The new craze is electric scooters for kids to allowing them to have loads of enjoyment and fun. This new investment may be the answer you’re looking for.

The scooter is a step up from a bicycle. The electric machine is pleasing to parents due to little noise. Relax in a peaceful atmosphere while your child scurries off on their new toy vehicle. You can also create a visual effect with appealing images and colors matching your child’s personality.

Electric scooters for kids are extremely sturdy and are built by manufacturers to meet safety requirements. This has increased the likeability factor, and has provided parents with a trusting feeling that their child can ride safe. Children learn to ride scooters easily. A good rule of thumb is to teach them standard riding tips to avoid accidents.

Shop for scooter’s with twist throttles in the handle bars. This provides speed control with a grip of the hand. A simple twist will slow the scooter down. If your child falls, the scooter immediately slows and comes to a halt. It’s easy to dazzle your child with the variety of colors and patterns. Pick from a spunky fluorescent orange with reflectors or dozens of designs, you’ll be sure to find something eye-catching to suit your child’s personality.

Fun features, your child will love on some models is dashboards. Some are fully illuminated with controls that give you readings similar to a car dashboard, giving them a feel of really driving. The dashboard control shows the speed and other. Certain models are equipped with a real key for start up, turning signals and horns to blow. The battery usually lasts for up to 4 hours and come with a charger. Scooters are light in weight making them easier to steal, so you want to include responsibility in your training so kids will learn to keep them in a secured place.

Consider investing in a protection helmet in the event of a minor accident. There is another benefit to an electric scooter for kids. They will not need to register or obtain a driver’s license. Enjoy sheer pleasure without additional requirements.

4 Stars Great helmet
My two boys received these helmets for Christmas. They look really cool and the boys are excited to wear them. They seem to fit good, also. Since they are still new, I am not sure how long they will last, but they seem durable.

3 Stars Quality did not live up to the brand name
I was disappointed with this scooter. I was expecting a higher quality product. The wheels are hollow plastic, I guess I was expecting rubber wheels that would ride smoother and not be as noisy as the plastic wheels are. The base is a good size for first time riders to learn to balance themselves on a scooter, but I think this scooter would be most suited for children under 4 years of age.

5 Stars great for teaching balance plus motion
/by being a balanced toy it allows child to be free to gain expertise in motion and control.

5 Stars Worth Every Penny…..
Initially, I wasn’t too keen about a plastic scooter. However, I took a chance and am so glad I did. My 3 year old grandson is just delighted with this scooter and rides it constantly. It really is durable and has provided hours of fun for him. He rides it inside and out. He has learned to balance it and zooms along. He does have some trouble steering, but I don’t know if that is a scooter issue or just something he still has to master. I enjoy watching him have so much fun and would recommend this without hesitation.

4 Stars Gift for Grandson
The Radio Flyer (My First Scooter) came as advertised and seems to be in keeping with Radio Flyer’s good name. Grandson is 2 years, 3 months and started learning a sense of balance within minutes. Not sure how old a child or how much weight it can handle as it bows a bit in the middle with this average size 2 year old on it.

5 Stars Scooter
Great first scooter. My son is small for his age. He can’t reach the pedel’s on a bikes for his age. So, he really loves his scooter now he can keep up with his sister and his other friends.
