User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Very fun and educational
I got this OUTWIT game to go with my daughter’s Leapster this Christmas. She is consistently amused by it and finds it easy to navigate. I think this is a good educational game for pre-school and kindergarten age kids. The timed challenges are simple ones such as identifying the ‘misfit’ in a group of similar objects, recognizing patterns in a a series of objects, and memory match challenges. It might not hold the attention of an older child who has already mastered these skills, but would be great for young children.

5 Stars another good learning game from leapster
Before I gave the game to my son who is in first grade, I checked it out myself. In an entertaining way he gets to do the math he is learning at school. So yes, thru playing this game, his math skills are reinforced. For the occasional time he is not running around, and indeed wants to play with his leapster, this game gets my full approval.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars My son loved it!
I got this for my oldest son for his sixth birthday, he loved it and mastered it very quickly which was a confidence booster for him!

5 Stars Leapfrog-Dora’s Camping Adventure
My granddaughter starting playing this as soon as she opened the present. We are all big outdoor people, and this is teaching about wonderful outdoor adventures in english and spanish. The game incorporates other learning within the adventures, the kids think they are playing a fun game but learning about so many new things. She enjoys playing this leapfrog game often.

5 Stars My daugher’s favorite
My four year old daughter got this game for Xmas with her Leapster2. It is a great game. She was playing it in the car today it was singing songs in Spanish and she was telling her 7 year old sister what the songs were in English. There is a game that you go on a raft and match the shapes/letters/etc. When she first got the game she had a lot of difficulty. She hasn’t mastered this game yet but she can now play it. It is very entertaining for her. I do see her having room to grow with this game.

2 Stars Graphics are bad, too many prompts
My daughter took to my husband’s DS recently. She is able to play Smart Girls Playhouse and the Deigo game almost with no help. Since that is a little advanced for an almost 3 year old I bought her this game on the Leapster. While the Leapster is still not technically in her age range I noticed that there was a lot of periods of talking in this game and even I had a hard time getting the unit to respond to the game (left, right, etc on the navi pad). Mostly though I’m very disappointed in this day and age that for what they charge the graphics are still so bad on these games.
