3 Stars Shame on your price!
Nerf Sonic Micro Darts Refill 10 Pack

I tried to puchase the Streamline Darts Refill Pack for my sons. Given the holiday, they are out in both retail stores I looked. I tried on line and was shocked by the price Hasbro is offering. Shame on your company!!! It is unfortunate that you elect to price gouge your loyal parents/children who sponsor your products.

5 Stars Grandson’s request
My grandson requested the gun for Christmas along with extra ammo. It is safe to use and has really gotten him up and running. I’m glad to see him off the sofa and away from the hand held games for awhile.

5 Stars A basic necessity!
You will always lose darts so getting replacement darts is a necessity! Worse off, some guns can only take streamline darts so you need these particular darts. Nerf used to sell only 10 packs but recently they’ve been selling 30 packs. I’m a fan of the 30 packs, so if you don’t plan on losing a lot of them, this 10 pack is OK.

4 Stars absolutely terrible price…
when i saw the price on these I assumed it was a third party seller trying to make an extra buck. Why would Amazon charge triple price for something like this? makes no sense…

4 Stars Nerf Ammo
These darts are great for the Nerf longshot and recon they last for about a month if you treat them well.

a good price if you get them from target (4.99) they are not worth anything more then that though.

Little Tikes TotSports T Ball Set

Little Tikes TotSports T-Ball Set is great for beginners, this kid-sized T-ball set includes an easy-to-use oversized bat and two oversized baseballs. The adjustable height “T” adapts to a child’s developing skills. The special “hang-on-the-wall” design makes it easy to store. It measures approximately 22″ tall.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great coordinator
I purchased this for my 3 year old grand-daughter. She loves it. It establishes hand/eye coordination and is fun. It is one toy that doesn’t frustrate her.

4 Stars Good and simple
A good basic t-ball stand. Nothing fancy. Nothing electronic. And it can be hung on the wall!

5 Stars Great T-ball Starter Set
I love this t-ball set, but my 2 year old still likes it better when I hold the ball. I bought this so when he missed, he wouldn’t whapp my arm with the bat! But, he does love to use it with his friends, and they have hit it all over the yard and its still as good as new.

5 Stars Great for toddlers
My parents got this for my son’s 2nd birthday. He absolutely loves it. It is great for hand-eye coordination. My husband is a huge baseball fan, so he really loves watching our son start on the basics of the game!

4 Stars CAUTION
This is a very cute toy. Only thing…I paid $9.99 for shipping and handleing and when it arrived at my house, the toy was not in a brown box, the company just stuck a shipping sticker on the toys box. When it arrived, my 4 year old twins got an early Christmas present…it was on my portch! Not much for Christmas presents this year and now I am one less! THANKS ALOT!!!

Parents Busy Zoo

March 1st, 2010

Parents Busy Zoo

A large wooden cube that offers a variety of colorful animal-themed activities on all four sides and on top, activities include rolling beads, doors that open and close to reveal animals, spinning letter and animal blocks, and a set of rotating blocks that form silly mixed up animals, or real ones when the sides align properly. At one year, children aren’t ready to do more than move objects randomly. Our youngest testers found some of the activities easier to manipulate than others. With so many different types of activities, it’s best to introduce and try to master only one age-appropriate activity at a time. Then, as a child’s competence grows, introduce another.

5 Stars Busy Zoo
I purchased this item as a first birthday gift for my grandson. It seems to be his favorite! It is the perfect height and stable enough for him to sit or stand at while he plays. While he enjoys his other toys, this one requires no batteries and is “kid powered”!

4 Stars Great toy, but shop around and watch your child with it
My daughter really enjoys this toy. We’ve had no issue with pealing paint and it seems well-made. Make sure you shop around as the price really can vary. We bought it for $50 from Target. I don’t know if they changed it, but the corners on ours are somewhat rounded, so there shouldn’t be any injuries with it that way. The issue we’ve had is that our daughter pulls up on it and the thing tips over on her. I wish it was heavier at the base so it couldn’t tip over. As is, whenever she plays with it, someone has to sit on the other side and hold it. I do think it will get years of use as the toys lend themselves to being played with at many stages of development.

5 Stars Great Toy!!
I bought this product for my 8-month old son and he loves it still to this day. It’s bright, colorful, and has plenty to keep him interested. The babies in my playgroup ranging from 1 to 2 years also love it when they come over to play.

My son did tip it over twice when I first bought it for him because he used it to lean back and sit down (something a 1 year old would probably not do hence the recommended age). He realized it and stopped. It never would have gone over otherwise, and even when it did it wasn’t a fast motion, or anything I felt would hurt him.

I haven’t had any paint issues. Maybe take it out of the box and check the condition before buying? I like that all the pieces are screwed on including the small knobs on the doors.

I also bought mine from Target for around $50.

5 Stars My daughter loves this toy!
My daughter has had this toy since she was 6 months old. She is 12 months now. She loved it then and she loves it now! She would play with all of the sides of the cube when she was younger, and now she likes to play with the top, though she still plays with both! I have not experienced any peeling paint as others have said. Overall, I get the impression that this toy is very well constructed and durable! I recommend this toy to anyone with a baby 6 months+!

5 Stars Enjoyed by both 1 and 4 year old boys
First impressions: The one year old likes playing with the beads on

the top and opening the doors providing he can get his four year old

brother out of the way. The four year old also likes playing with it!

Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden Pound A Peg

February 21st, 2010

Melissa and Doug Deluxe Wooden Pound A Peg

Incredible value and superior craftsmanship make this toy a childhood favorite. Brightly colored, smooth-sanded pieces help build early shape, color and size differentiation skills. Pound the eight wooden pegs into the wooden bench, then flip it over to repeat again and again! Wooden hammer included. Measures 11″ x 5″ x 3.5″.

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Great toy but falls apart and paint comes off
My children loved this toy but the sides fell off within a week and paint chips off very easily. I did expect paint to come off since there is friction involved, but not within a few days after we just bought it. I did contact Melissa and Doug company and they said they would look into the quality of the product (sending a box so I can return it to them, along with others I bought that did the same). It may be a bad paint batch but I do think parents need to be aware that the sides fell off easily (they do snap back on, though you really need glue to keep it workable) and the paint coming off is not good for young children who might put it in their mouth.

5 Stars Classic – We Love It
Bought this for my two-year-old son, but my daughter(3) loves it just as much. A classic wooden, brightly colored peg set. Hammer ‘em down, flip it, hammer ‘em down again.

The only possible drawback is that they can and do pop the pegs out, which means we have to hunt under the couches from time to time, but anyone with toddlers should be used to that anyway. :)

3 Stars believe the reviews.
the pegs and holes are varying sizes (some pegs work in all holes, some are too small for most of the holes but will work in one or two, some pegs won’t fit in some holes but fit in others. Maddening!) I have one peg that’s too narrow for all the holes that I put some tape around to increase the thickness. Now the red sides keep falling off. I keep re-gluing them with wood glue but it doesn’t hold. I may put screws in through the side but that will affect the appearance. But my kids love the toy. Wish the pegs didn’t come out, am tired of hunting for them around the house. Our hammer didn’t fall apart but the wood splintered around the corners. I picked as much off as I could but it’s still ugly. I don’t think my kids were particularly hard on it. I usually like m&d toys but this one is one of the few exceptions.

5 Stars Ideal for a Busy Toddler
My daughters each had a similar toy when they were babies, and when my granddaughter was a year old, we got one for her, too. Now her one-year old brother has his own, and it is one of his favorite toys. He loves to bang on the pegs (practicing his hand-eye coordination), it is durable and sturdy, the pieces are too big to swallow, it makes a banging sound which is satisfying to him without driving the rest of the family up the wall, and it helps him learn patience and persistence. I love the Melissa and Doug items for children!

4 Stars good not great
This product is good for learning how to it things precisely. Maybe I got it too late for my son. He pretty much hit all the pegs through a couple times and now he’s lost interest. He was 20 months when I got it so I think he was past it. He now likes using the hammer on the doors or daddy. He just pushes the pegs through with his hand. Mostly he ignores it. I think it would be better for a younger baby.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Help baby sit up!!
This toy is an excellent purchase for a 4-5 month old. My son was sort of sitting up, but this toy drove him to sit up on his own! He loves playing with the different settings and the rolling cylinder as well.

5 Stars Great
I got this for my niece for christmas, she LOVES it and plays with it all the time. Great for young children.

5 Stars Baby loves it!
I purchased this for a 1 year old’s birthday party and I also purchased one for my 6 month old. They both love this toy tremendously! Even though they are a little young to learn the numbers in english, spanish or french they still love the lights and sounds. Entertains for a while.

4 Stars Cute & fun!
My 8 month old likes this toy. It keeps him entertained enough while I’m busy. It’s the perfect size as it’s not too big to put on table in front of him or to tote around. The keys are the perfect size for his little hands. And I like this toy for me because the classical music is nice to listen to and not annoying at all when my baby boy is playing with it.

5 Stars The best piano ever!
My 9 months old just loves this piano, and his parents too! It has everything he wants; melodies, numbers (in 3 languages), instrument keys. Also he loves the roller drum and color balls.

I definitely recomend it!
