4 Stars Not bad…
I am not a collector. My son wanted this toy so we got him one. First, it’s not very intuitive on how to transform it for a 5-year-old. Second, the helmet and other head-related parts are not sturdy at all. The only saving grace for this toy is that my son likes it still and that its build quality is better than the tank Megatron we got him. I’d say this is for at least an 8-year-old.

4 Stars Innovative Toy
Expedited service. My nephew loves this toy. The fact that it is animated and also converts from one form to another is a plus. He has gotten many hours of enjoyment from it, and as a rule is hard on toys. The toy has stood up to his rough play and has remained durable. I highly recommend for the little boy in your life.

i got this figure last month and i couldn’t be more happier with this figure good articulation medium to transformer and i love his Galatics tribute head from headmaster and his quote when u put i on is funny ownage total ownage some of the parts do come off easy other than that good transformer figure

the only Con is his Catch phrase when u put on the headmaster head does get annoying. for any die hard Transformer fan this is must have.

5 Stars VERY DURABLE…even for a 3 1/2 year old boy
We ordered Bulkhead as a Christmas present for my 3 1/2 year old son. (I know it say for ages 5+, but he’s very into Transformers Animated and is pretty bright for his age.) It seemed kind of tricky to transform him at first, but my husband figured it out, and after a couple of times it’s a piece of cake. My son can even trasform him by himself.

He’s very durable. We have about 6 of the Transformers Animated figures, and he’s built very well..never had a single part pop off. (The smaller figures’ parts tend to pop off when too much pressure is applied, but they pop right back on.) We are all very happy with this purchase.

5 Stars transformer
Grandsons played with these transformers. Bought several varieties. They liked to play with them and watch the movie..

4 Stars The Greatest Hero the World Will Never Know
If you are looking at this page, then you know who Booster is, so there is no need for me to go over his history, lets just skip to the review.

Booster comes in the standard DC Universe Box in a wonderful flight pose.

Booster has had one other figure recently, the DC direct figure. I will be using this as a comparison.

While the Direct version has Booster with a 80s yellow coloring (very bright), this figure has a more modern gold paint up, perhaps slightly too dark for some but I believe works perfectly. The blue is metalic on both figures. The goggles are perfectly done, as they do not make the figure’s eyes appear strange as they have on some figures in this line. While the Direct figure has washed out blonde hair, like a surfer, this figure has the updated darker blond from the recent comic series.

Booster stands just as tall as a normal DC Direct figure, slightly taller than some of the Universe figures (which makes sense, as Booster is 6 foot 5 in the comics).

The paint…we all know there have been problems. The metalic blue is the base paint, and I foung three cases of minor paint problems: the blue peaking through on the arm, a slight smudge on his right check, and a slight smudge on his left arm. Not enough, however to draw attention to themselves.

Booster has amazing articulation. Neck, shoulders, foearm, elbow, wrist, waist, torso, hips, knees, calves and ankles all rotate. Booster can do the splits, people.

Booster’s accessory is Skeets. Let me warn you now, Skeets isn’t like the Direct version, which was free standing. He is connected to Booster by a yellow energy trail (similar to would one would see in the comics). A bit annoying that it can’t be plugged in and out, but not enough to make you turn away from the figure.

There are two versions of Booster, the modern and the classic , or collared, version. The Modern Skeets has a fun surprise: open his face plate to reveal Mr. mind. However, this does lead to the door not shutting completely tight. Again, however, not the biggest deal in the world, especially if you keep the door open.

In the end, this figure is wonderful. i have him standing next to my classic Booster figure, and it really shows the evolution from the 80s to now for the character.

5 Stars Boosteriffic Action Figure
The DC Universe figure of Booster Gold and his robot companion Skeets is an excellent likeness of one of the more underused DC characters. Booster and Skeets are modeled after the most recent comic series. The figure is very detailed and durable. It’s a must have for all Booster fans.

5 Stars Great value and much wanted toy
I purchased this for my grandson and he was so excited opening up the present. Durable and fun.

5 Stars Bulkhead’s a Hit
My grandson is 3 and this brought him so much joy. It was the item on his Christmas list. He watched closely as his Dad “transformed” the toy over and over. It was mutually enjoyable and educational because very soon, he was able to work a lot of it himself.

Education benefit: Eye-hand coordination, sequencing, following directions, patience, cooperation.

Working with his Dad– priceless!

4 Stars Great figure!!
I can say this is one of the best figures in the animated line.

THE GOOD!

1.Robot mode very show accurated.

2.Car mode is an improve over the show design, well done.

3.It has a fun transformation.

4.The headmaster unit adds fun to the figure.

THE BAD!

My only complains are:

1.Low range of posability. Even when the arms have decent range of movement the short legs and the stationary head (because the mechanism of facial expression)make the figure weak in this department.

2.I would like the saw were detachable, but is a minor.

3.It would ‘ve been nice the headmaster had a transformation like in the show. It’s more a wish than a complain.

Great figure overall!!
