4 Stars Good starter scooter
I bought this scooter for my 3 year old so he would have a good quality first scooter that also looked like his older brother’s Razor scooter. The first one that arrived in the mail had the plastic around the wheels broken off so we had to return it. The second one arrived and has been fine ever since but I worry about all the plastic. With a boy riding it (and one already arriving broken), I wonder how long the plastic will hold up. Considering the regular Razors are all metal, I’m not sure why the base and unerside has so much plastic on it. That’s my only complaint. Otherwise, it’s a great first scooter.

2 Stars Doesn’t glide but good stability
We got the Razor Jr scooter for our 3 1/2 year old. You have to constantly kick to keep moving – it never glides like a classic Razor scooter. If you are looking for the stability of the 3 wheels with the glide of a classic Razor try the Mini Kick Scooter by Micro Mobility for around $75. If your kid is fairly coordinated and can balance then just get the classic Razor Scooter A.

Its really good, little one likes it a lot. I just wish it was little bit cheaper to deserve 5 stars.

3 Stars Fancy but not functional
It surely is a fancy scooter I’ve ever seen.

But it was too slow and even risky (handle bar) for my 3 yr old boy.

Shipping was delayed, and the logo on the handle bar was printed on the back, and my boy kept asking me which way the handle was supposed to go.

5 Stars Butterflies at home
My kids love this! They begged me to get one after doing this activity at their preschool. We got the kit, sent away for the larvae and received them in about a week. Watched them form crysalises and then into butterflies. We now have 4 butterflies, and one is waiting to emerge. We are feeding them and watching them spread their wings in their cage. It’s a great learning activity for the kids and very affordable.

5 Stars Great learning experience
Overall this was a great product for my child to observe. The obvious issue is explaining to your 6 year old how fragile these insects are and that she can’t mess around with it all the time. That is why I gave the item a lower rating for durability, it’s a look, but don’t touch kind of thing. The kit itself is very durable and can be saved for future use!

We had a lot of fun with it thought, watching everyday in anticipation for our beautiful butterflies to enter into the world.

Children Toys:

Purchased two cars for grandchildren. One conked out after 30 minutes. (give me toys) was fast to replace it. Great Vendor but product may have a few flaws but not the vendor’s fault. The price was good and I would buy from this Vendor again if Amazon did not have in stock.

5 Stars Love butterflies!
We bought this for my daughter’s 5th birthday — and she loves it! I also bought the book From Caterpillar to Butterfly, and the whole experience was very educational and fun. However, be careful when ordering the caterpillars. I requested that they be shipped to us on a certain date (as offered on the order form), but they arrived a week later — so it’s obvious that no one really read the order form. We were leaving town and had to ask our friends to take over … which was very disappointing. Otherwise, it truly is a wonderful gift that every child should experience!

5 Stars Love to see the butterfly
This is the second times we got this product. The first one was a birthday gift for my son who was 3 years old. This time I got it for him, as he really loves insects especially caterpillars and butterflies. He goes to park everyday to catch butterflies and then releases them after 1 or 2 days. We fed the flesh flowers sprayed with sugar water.

We love this kit. We received the caterpillars about 1-2 weeks. All 5 caterpillars are alive. They were tiny, seeing them double in size everyday is amazing. After we release the butterflies, the butterfly garden is very useful for my son to keep the bugs he catches everyday.

5 Stars My 6-Year Old Loves This!
I got this for my 6-year old daughter. We live in Florida. After sending in $3 for the laydybug larva, it took 2 weeks for our larva to arrive. We started our process at the end of May. I gave my daughter the habitat and the bugs at that time. She as ABSOLUTELY thrilled!!!! We got a total of 14 larva. After about 2 days, some of the larva became pupa as they cling to the underside of the dome. After another 5 days as pupas, they crawled out of their outer skin and and looked white. In a matter of hours, they looked a pale yellow. The next day, they were all bright pink with black dots. We’ve never seen pink-spotted ladybugs before. The whole family like to sit and look at them. We were amazed that all 14 larva actually grew into ladybugs.

I’d recommend this as a gift. We’re very happy with it.

My kids loved watching the lady bugs go through their stages of development. It’s very cool! And releasing them was an even bigger hit!!

5 Stars Simple, wonderful, fun
My 6-year-old daughter received this as a Christmas present, so we had to wait a long time to send away for our bugs, because we really wanted to set them free afterwards. The little house is so cute, she played with it anyway. The bugs came within the timeframe indicated, and we got 11 of them into the house (Mommy might have let a few escape by accident!) Every single one of them lived and hatched into a ladybug, which really surprised me. The whole family was absolutely fascinated by the process. When it came time to let them go, they crawled all over my delighted daughter’s hands before flying away. We’re going to order more larva!

2 Stars Dead larvae!
Like another reviewer, I also received a tube of what looked like dead larvae. Only 1 was alive in the end. I called up Customer Service and was on the phone waiting to talk to a live person for 50 minutes! Finally got through to someone & they said they would send some more. Nothing yet though.

The actual ladybug land is very cheaply made and the children can easily pull the top off & then the ladybugs can escape. So just beware.

Bought this for my son’s 4th birthday. All the kids loved it and they still talk about it all the time.

It’s also great for lower case letter recognition, since we often see upper case letters in toys. I keep the letters in a baggie so that we don’t lose any.

My 5yr old son loves this game. He is learning to spell and able to focus while doing so. The pictures and tactile letters help. It has provided hours of entertainment. Just don’t let your dog chew on the pieces! The colored paper can come off the tops of the letters from being chewed on.

My 3 year old seems to enjoy playing with it- I am mainly going to use it to familiarize him with the small letters since he has already mastered the capital letters.
