2 Stars Doesn’t work on soft carpet
Good:

- The basic idea is interesting and amusing.

- The alarm sound is more entertaining than the usual.

- You can set the snooze interval.

- It has a ‘game’ mode – you can make it attempt to run around the room with its wheels.

Bad:

- The box says “the clock that runs away!” Good idea. Doesn’t happen. I have a soft carpet (it’s not shag or anything, just new.) With my carpet, the clock is able to roll off my nightstand but then cannot do more than twitch around in place, where it falls — the clock wheels sink in a tiny amount and the clock body ends up going around and around, instead of the wheels going around and going somewhere. Net result: the clock is sitting on the floor next to my bed, acting loony, and it’s almost as easy to grab and turn off as a regular clock, without my needing to wake up.

- In my sleep, I don’t carefully differentiate between ‘off’ and ’snooze’. I’d like ‘off’ to be harder to achieve than ’snooze’. On this clock, it’s no harder to hit the ‘off’ button than the ’snooze’ button.

- As another reviewer said, be nice if the alarm were louder.

Net:

I bought it cheap (elsewhere), and it’s amusing even though it doesn’t do the job, so I’ll keep it and give it two stars instead of one star.

PS – The design error is that the clock body should be offset farther beneath the axle. Maybe the design engineers had bare-wood bedroom floors at home?

3 Stars Wake up!
Great for people who oversleep and do not respond to regular alarm clock Problem for apartment dwellers as it is very loud and annoying and can be heard through to adjacent apartment.

5 Stars Clocky is a real hoot!
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1K8FW2PNL2FO4 If ever there was a product that cried out for an Amazon video review, it’s Clocky. This thing is so much fun to play with. It sounds like R2 D2 from Star Wars, and after the first time you hit the snooze alarm it jumps off the table or nightstand and runs around the room a beepin’ and a flashin’. You can see it works pretty well on the carpeting and it moves even faster on our tile floors. It can jump down from up to 3 feet without killing itself which is more than you need for most nightstands. I don’t know if you can see from the video, but it’s made pretty well and seems sturdy.

I bought it for my sister who thinks it’s cute during the day but doesn’t like chasing it in the morning. I tried to capture her on video, chasing clock in a real live morning situation, but her words were “unkind” and not suitable for an Amazon review.

This makes a cute gift for the person who has everything but likes to sleep. I hope this video gives you a better idea of how cute this thing is. (Sorry for all the jiggling around. I really have to get a camera with some kind of stabilization feature).

5 Stars Terrific item for any hard to wake person!
My daughter slept through every alarm clock I ever found. Clocky wakes her up every time! And she has to stay up to catch him! One of the best inventions EVER!

4 Stars VERY loud, anoying alarm clock
We purchased this clock as a Christmas gift for my daughter who just can’t get up in the morning. She hasn’t had an alarm clock loud enough to wake her and therefore she would go back to sleep and be late for school most of the time. This alarm clock is VERY loud and VERY annoying and it also rolls itself off the table so you just can’t reach over and hit snooze all the time. Just what she needed to get up in the morning, except when she forgets to turn the alarm on. For myself, this clock is too much but perfect for a person who can’t get up to a regular alarm clock. Only gave this 4 stars because I feel the price is high for an alarm clock even if it does roll around the room.

4 Stars Cute and effective
Bought this as a gift for my sister, she enjoys it and purposely lets it roll off sometimes. I think it works as a fun gadget to have, if you’re a professional who’s not into cute things this isn’t for you. It is loud though and as of now nothing has happened to it.

4 Stars Who likes their alarm?
People who are looking for an alarm clock that runs away are not the usual sort of people I think would like an alarm clock… I doubt that most of them would give an alarm clock that fights to wake them up a good review. The first few weeks where this alarm would roll away from me after it went off I felt like I wanted to kill it, but I bought it so that me and my girlfriend would have an easier time getting up in the morning on those days we stayed up late.

Sure, it isnt the best looking alarm clock (hello, it has wheels!!) but it works well for what it does. Mine has lasted over a year with no cracks or breakdowns. I love it (and hate it!! Let me sleep!!).

5 Stars BEST ALARM CLOCK EVER!
This is the BEST alarm clock ever! It is VERY practical and well worth the money! The fact that it rolls around is cute but the best part is that it is LOUD! I turn the wheels off so it stays on my shelf. My husband actually hears it! And it is no boring “beep, beep, beep, beep.” The sound is so cool, you have to hear it. If you need something that is different and actually wakes you up, CLOCKY is it!

4 Stars Great Alarm Clock (AKA So annoying it gets you out of bed pronto)
I got this as a gift for my boyfriend who is impossible to wake in the morning (translation: he needs 3-5 phone calls in the morning and even then it’s not guaranteed to wake him up).

So anyway Clocky is incredibly adorable and I think the only downside is that only one button works as the snooze function unlike when you use your Nokia phone as an alarm and all buttons other than the Stop button will activate the snooze function. When you’re sleeping, you just hit whatever button that your fingers reach first, with your eyes still closed. With Clocky, if you just hit any of the other buttons, this makes the alarm stop and not snooze, meaning that in all likelihood you’re gonna end up late if you just randomly hit any button to stop the alarm. I suppose it’s just a matter of getting used to where the Snooze Button is located, but perhaps Nanda could bear that in mind if they ever want to upgrade the design. Other than that, I think Clocky is great.

4 Stars Adapter
The adapter was bought for the click start game. We prefer using the adapter over use of batteries. It has been working just fine.

5 Stars a must buy
Don’t use the product without the ac adaptor. You will have to replace batteries too often.

1 Star terrible
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my three year old. My older son did just fine learning on an ordinary computer. I thought this would be even better. It is useless. Especially the mouse. I could not use the mouse as an adult. No way is this a meaningful training tool for a kid. Totally frustrating experience for my son.

1 Star LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer Adapter review
Basically the adapter proved useless. The computer flashed a low battery warning on screen every 3 seconds when it was running from this adapter. I ended up using a universal adapter, purchased for $[...] running at 5V instead.

5 Stars Must have!
After reading the reviews I thought the adapter was necessary.

If you like spending your money you can use batteries, but it’s really worth it to buy the adapter, it will pay for itself & you don’t have the trouble of installing batteries every couple weeks.

2 Stars LeapFrog Click Start “My first computer”
My step grandson was given this a year ago. His mother isn’t computer literite and thus far the child only played with the accessories. It never

got hooked up or used. Be sure the parent is able to do all the hook up connections or it won’t help the child at all, unless you go to his house and do it yourself. By the time we found out, parts were missing.

Too bad since this would have really been a great educational start for him.
