5 Stars A Great Gift for a Great Kid
I got this for my four year-old niece for Christmas… She’s a SpongeBob fanatic, so I was pretty sure I couldn’t go wrong. She immediately popped it into her Leapster and played with it for the rest of the day. She was pretty focused on the Crab Claw game and seemed to really enjoy it… After I told her to stop and listen to SpongeBob count the money she was dropping into the machine instead of just throwing it in until it switched to the claw… well, she was learning something without realizing she was learning… which is the whole point to this “edutainment” thing, right?

The animation, itself, is a bit lacking, but it’s SpongeBob and Squidward and the whole gang… and that’s all she needs to have a good time… and learn a little something while she’s at it.

I would have liked to see a record option on the music “game,” so she could tinker around and then listen back to what she created… but just having her interested in something for more than five minutes at a time is awesome enough.

Overall, she was having a blast with it, so it was money well spent.

5 Stars Best of ALL
My son is 4 years old and he has almost all the leapster games. But He loves this game the most! He is always laughing while learning counting and numbers. A must buy!!!

5 Stars A gift…
I bought this game as a gift for my grandson’s 5th birthday. He is a huge SpongeBob fan. He really enjoys the game and is learning along the way. I was amazed at how quickly he picked up the concept learning about coins.

5 Stars Popular game at our house
We have two leapsters going at our house. My three year old likes to play the Sponge Bob game but she prefers Pet Pals. I think Sponge Bob is a bit over her head. Sponge Bob is my six year old son’s favorite. He can do the simple math.

4 Stars Good for 4 years and older kids
this game is a little bit difficult for my 3.5 year old son, i am hoping in a year or so it can be useful to him.

5 Stars Best Toy

I have Leapfrog but it’s leappad it’s boring But My Friend Soren Mayer Has This And I went to his house and he let me play with it Its VERY good i PLAYED 2 GAMES spongebob and i spy he had spider-man but didn’t play with spider-man so this Is My Favorite Toy In The World!!!!

5 Stars I bought this for a 3 year old
I bought this game for our 3 1/2 yo hoping it would not be too advanced. It has turned out to be just right, although I do have to sit with her to help her with it most of the time. I expected that for her young age, and I think it has been a great teaching tool.

4 Stars I Spy Challenge Review
I purchased this game for my son since he enjoys the I Spy series books and for the most part he enjoys the game, although his initial reaction was that the game is not challenging enough?

5 Stars Another good Leapster.
My granddaughter just turned 6, and she loves it. In fact she loves all her Leapster games, and I think they’re great for enhancing basic skills. Not quite as educational as some advanced computer games, but lots of fun, and better than some mindless handheld toy games.

5 Stars Cars Supercharged
I purchased these games for my grandson. He said they were fun and he was learning alot. He’s 5 and only received the games on 2/26 for his birthday. Sorry I have no more feedback than that.

1 Star total waste of money
i bought this game this morning for my 4 yr old son. wish i’d never bought it. it’s a total waste of money. my 4 yr old son found it extremely boring and wanted to stop playing after 10 minutes. i tried it too and i have to agree with him. too bad you can’t return the game once opened. my son doesn’t want to play it anymore, so that’s $30 down the drain. we are extremely disappointed. not sure now if i want to buy any other leapster games.

3 Stars Ok Game – but not too exciting.
It’s a fun game, and the kids play with it. But definetly not that great. It pretty much is the same driving course, with different math questions.

Good if you child is a Cars Fanatic. But I highly recommend Sonic over this one for 5 – 6 year old. If you child is younger – maybe 4 – than this would be appropriate.

5 Stars Great Leapster Game
My 5 year old daughter got this as a gift for Christmas and she just loves playing this game! I’ve played a few of the games on it myself and was surprised as to how much you actually can learn. Educational and fun :)

5 Stars Educational and Entertaining
My nephew’s face lit up when he opened his new game. Despite all the other cool gifts he received for his birthday, the first one he chose to open and play with was his Leapster game!

5 Stars Ava’s Dora the Explorer Review
I am six years old. I like to play games and look for animals with Dora. I play this game a lot. It is one of my favorite games. My other favorites are Kindergarten and Finding Nemo. I think anybody my age would love this game.

5 Stars nice Leapster addition for Dora fans
This Dora cartridge for the Leapster was one of our daughter’s favorite Christmas presents. Even though she had lost some interest in Dora she still was happy to receive this Leapster game. Our daughter already has the Backyardigans and Princess cartridges. This Leapster cartridge is a nice addition to her rotation of Leapster games and other toys. At 3.5 years some things on the Dora game are still difficult for our little girl but she still enjoys it. If your child likes Dora and has some Leapster experience I’d recommend this game.

5 Stars I guess it depends on the kid
Both my kids got L-Max’s for Christmas. I bought the Dora Game for my daughter (she’s 3) but she wasn’t really into. My son on the other hand (4 years) loves this game. It is definitely his favorite. In all they have Dora, Letter Factory, Disney Princesses and Cars. My son likes Dora and Letter Factory, while my daughter enjoys the other two more.

1 Star Too Boring
We got this for my sister along with the leapster. She loves Dora so we just HAD to get this. My sister’s 6 and maybe she’s growing out of Dora because she tired of this game very quickly and so did I. It was too repetitive and not quite as intersting as the Sonic game we also got. So in comparison, Dora was “borrr-ing” as my sister said when she switched to play another game.

So even if you child loves Dora, don’t buy this game unless your child is under the age of 6. I think even the game was made special for kids still learning about up and down and counting and not for kids in school. It really itsn’t worth it, and not very exciting. Remember to follow the age suggestions when in doubt, that helps. My sister was past the Dora game educational speaking, even if she still loved the character Dora.

5 Stars Great game for a 3 year old.
I bought a used Leapster and this is one of the many games that came with it. After playing all the games I think this is the most suitable for my 3 year old, he is able to play many of the mini games that come in the cartrige without my help, he also likes Dora a lot. Great educational game.

LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game Disney Princess

LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game Disney Princess

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars We Love It!
My daughter & I love this game!!! It’s fun for her and I love the fact that she is learning to write letters, numbers, and shapes. It’s a must have for the Leapster 2.

5 Stars Outstanding Game!
I read the reviews before I bought this and they were not that great. I bought it solely because my daughter loves the Disney princesses. Well, this turned out to be her favorite game and I love it too! It teaches so many great skills and the best part is it is so encouraging even when mistakes are made. My daughter tends to give up when she makes mistakes but with this game she just keeps plugging along because it never makes her feel bad it just keeps guiding them forward. The games are very cute and very educational. She is learning the correct way to write her letters, gaining lots of hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Definitely a must have for the princess fan!

5 Stars Great buy, my niece loves it!
Great product, my niece loves it. Amazon delivered it on time! The external cartridge games are great but it also comes with few games/paintbrush type programs that keep the kids busy for hours learning colors and shapes.

4 Stars Leapster games make learning Fun!
My girlfriends daughter enjoyed this game. Leapster games apply learning concepts to games. Good graphics and sound.

5 Stars Fabulous game for girls!!
I bought this game for my daughter’s 5th birthday. She loves princesses, so this game was perfect for her. She loves all of the characters and learning activities that it comes with. I like that you can choose which level you want to play each game, so it can be played at many different learning stages. Right now she is just learning how to put letter sounds together to read simple words, but eventually when she can read more words she will be able to do the more difficult levels. This game really is so fun for girls and I love that she is actually learning something while she’s playing instead of just staring at a screen or playing with something that isn’t very stimulating. My 3-year-old daughter loves to play around with game on the Leapster too. She doesn’t really know how to play the games yet, but she loves the princess characters and she is quite entertained by it as well. We have only had our Leapster for a few months, but it has been such a great learning tool and fun activity – I just wish we bought it and the Disney Princess game a long time ago! I would definitely recommend this game to anyone!!
