5 Stars I love Big Screen FreeCell
I already had the burgundy freecell game by Radica, and have played it for years. The center roller was not consistently working, so it was time for a new model. After playing the Big Screen model for about a month, I picked up my old game again. I absolutely love the new navigation up & down arrows; this works so much better than the old roller for scrolling. I also quickly realized how much better the lighted screen is. I love this game.

1 Star Buy A Laptop
I imagine this gadget may be adequate for the UltraHardcore Freecell Junkies among us. However, even as big a Freecell Zombie as I am I think this hand held “version” is a useless POS. I find it impossible to differentiate the four suits in any useful way. Yeah, you can see them by squinting but, since there’s no color involved to distinguish hearts and diamonds from clubs and spades, it’s almost impossible to figure out which card should go where. In addition, and, I think, a problem with all these solitare games, is the fact that you cannot see the entire field of cards so you have no idea where the aces are, e.g., without constantly using the “up” and “down” buttons.

In short, this game is pretty much for those who are desperate to play Freecell in the WORST way, because this is truly the worst way I can imagine. If you are totally jonesing for a hit of Freecell and you’re dependant on your desktop, then get yourself a small laptop. Don’t waste your money, as I did, on this toy.

5 Stars Big Screen Free Cell
It takes a few minutes to get used to the screen. Reading the instructions really helps!! Once you get the hang of it it’s great. My husband plays this every day. It’s great to cart along to a dental or doctor’s appointment – makes that time in the waiting room seem short!

1 Star Not much fun
I really wanted to enjoy this but it’s not like the game on my computer (as stated in the description) the card piles are all the same and worse, there is no undo button which for those of us just learning the game, is essential. Once you move a card, that is it, no mistakes allowed. Perhaps this game is only for those who really know the game and somehow can make this thing work and have fun. I found only frustration.

5 Stars Big Screen Free Cell
I’m on my second one. I wore one out. I have had it a couple of years. It still works but is getting a little beat up. I play it almost every day. It lights up so it’s easy to see with the lights out. Love it. My Mom’s on her second one also.

4 Stars What are you talking about?
I just looked this item up on Little Tykes website and you can buy one for $99.00. They’re in stock!

5 Stars Won’t break when dropped
This is great for my three year old who is always trying to use her older sister’s gear. Now she has her own camcorder that won’t break with each drop, and she can take it in the water!

5 Stars Its not Amazon changing the price!!!
To all of you that are complaining about Amazon changing the price… Amazon sells stuff by other dealers. Under the item it will tell you who the item is being sold by. Amazon is not price gouging, you should complain about who ever it says that it “sells and ships from.”

2 Stars Waste of money
Bought this from etoys as a Christmas present for almost 4yr old. Good price of only $89.00. First problem was getting the cover off to insert batteries. After nearly 10 minutes we finally got it off and then noticed that we would have to take it off every time we wanted to download the footage. Might have been willing to overlook that if the image quality were not so poor no matter what the resolution. The shutter is very slow and is nearly impossible to prevent movement of the heavy camera. Before returning to etoys (who were great about handling the return) I was going to remove the batteries. After trying to get the cover off for 5 minutes I decided it was not worth my time or frustration. So glad I returned this camera.

5 Stars Examples of the Video Footage follow URL
My first question was whats the quality of the output.. I couldn’t find anything on web so two examples of the video here .

http://www.applemax.net/Main/Movie/Entries/2008/11/29_Little_Tikes_Video_Camera.html

Max got one of those waterproof kids camera’s for his birthday and I have to be honest I really was expecting a poor output, how wrong was I!

Ok so the fact you have to unscrew the baseplate to get to the usb socket and the fact it records in ASF format so isn’t that friendly but just look at the quality!!!!

I think I needed Flip4Mac Studio to encode output after using MPEG Streamclip (freeware) – to covert from ASF but honestly I had this stuff anyway and I am OVER the MOON with the quality. Look out for more Video’s of Max by Max..

The Camera has 3 modes, Video, Replay and Camera. Camera picture are equally impressive!

Max gets the controls but he does find it quite heavy to hold for long periods (When you are 3 that is about 30 secs).

Once you have the hang of 2 secs to power on then hold the power button to scroll through modes. The zoom is useless if you set video and camera to maximum but I cant say he misses that option.

Math Whiz

Math Whiz

Math Whiz plays like a video game and teaches like electronic flash cards. This portable ELA quizzes kids on addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, AND works as a full-function calculator at the press of a button. Problems are displayed on the LCD screen. Features eight skill levels, as well as lights and sounds for instant feedback. Two AAA batteries required (not included).

5 Stars Great product!!!
This was an excellent use of our money! Our daughter picks it up and “plays” with it without us even telling her to. She takes it on trips and sees how many levels she can get through. It has encouraged her to learn her math facts while having fun. We have had no problem with the display at all. I even love using it! It’s a challenge for sure, but it has so many levels that they can start super easy. Highly recommended.

5 Stars Nice as a calculator
My 8 year old hasn’t played with it too much, it is a nice math toy though. And a very nice calculator for mom to use.

1 Star not worth it
I bought this toy for my son form Santa. I destroyed the packing slip when it arrived. Needless to say it did not even work. I tried 3 different sets of batteries and nothing. The toy was very cheaply made. We never got to use it and I’m out the money for not saving the receipt.

1 Star Would be great if it worked
Great idea, but poor quality. Minutes after starting to use it, something came loose and regardless of how many times attempted to fix, would not work again. Some buttons worked and others did not.

2 Stars Great, when it works
We bought the Math Wiz on Feb. 1st, 2008. It worked just fine at first and our 1st grader enjoyed using the Math Wiz on occasion. This isn’t a toy, but really an electronic device for learning basic math factors.

What disappoints us is that after 6-8 months, the Math Wiz stopped working properly. At this point, the only thing we can get it to do is work like a basic calculator. The challenges and timed exercises do not function at all. It was never abused or dropped and still looks brand new. The thing just stopped working right all of a sudden, and now it appears I’m stuck with it in this condition.
