Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker have just learned that a powerful new droid weapon is being built that would give the Separatists the winning advantage. Join Jedi knights as they race against time to stop what would almost certainly be a fatal blow to the Republic and the Jedi Order.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Excellent educational game
My 7 year old son is in love with the Didj my dad got him, and he only had the Jetpack Heroes that was included. So, I decided to add to his repertoire. After all, I know the Leapster wasn’t much without the cartridges and the included games weren’t ever nearly as fun as the ones we bought.

I was a little concerned that the Star Wars game would have the same math concepts he worked on in Jetpack Heroes, but it is different. Instead of addition, subtraction, multiplication, my son gets to work on fractions, place value and geometry.

I tried it myself and there is enough math to keep my son thinking. He gets a to be a jedi with a light saber who goes around a maze of hallways killing bad guys and while trying to survive. He has to stop once in awhile and answer questions like which pie chart shows 1/10 colored in or what number in 693 is in the hundreds place or how many sides does a pentagon have.

For those worried about violence, it is cartoon violence against robots and there is no blood. I’d say it`s about as violent as Tom and Jerry, except the robots die (disappear). That may not be enough for some, but at least you know what you are getting into.

My son loved his Leapster, but he said he’s not going back. Didj is much better. He likes being able to customize the game. I like being able to track his progress and help choose what concepts he’s working on.

5 Stars Fun and Challenging
My 7 yo son wanted to play this game on his DiDJ so he saved and finally bought it. When it arrived, he desperately open the box and inserted the cartridge in the game console. A few minutes later he was enjoying , making noices and having fun. The questions provided in this game were something new for him so this keep him excited and inmerse in the game.

I asked hime the next day about some of the questions the game showed up and he was able to retain knowledge. That’s nice! He’s on advance math class

4 Stars Good game
I got this game with Sonic for my 6 year old’s Didj and although he plays sonic more, he loves this one. This one is a little more difficult so I like that it challenges him more but I don’t like the math question options as much. It still is teaching him so it’s not all bad, just not my favorite. He still likes to play it even after having it for months and I can go on the computer and choose what questions it asks him to try to keep it at his level.

5 Stars THe boy loves it
My son got the Diji for Christmas this year from Santa and he literally didn’t put it down for three days. With the after X-mas sales I got him this game. Along with other parents I worried that it may be too old for him (he is 6) and might be too much of a challenge with the math skills. No, he did just fine. He only asked me for a little bit of help, and thanks to his sister-who got online and spent some of his “credits” he has new challenges and new stuff for all of his games. Way to go Diji, keep the cool games coming and this will stick around for a long time.

3 Stars Leapfrog Didj Custom Learning Game Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Great game. My son loves it! He thinks he has the same game as his older brothers on the PSP! I love the didj and the best thing leapfrog has done is make their games customizable!!! That’s better than gold! Again thank you LeapFrog!

Embark on dangerous rescue missions as Anakin, R2-D2, C-3PO and other Jedi knights to free members of the Republic imprisoned on federation cruisers and increase your Jedi ranking. Fly to enemy ships, engage in starflight battles and duel with light sabers while learning basic mathematics and telling time skills. The order of the galaxy depends on your success.

Leapster2 players can even connect online for extra activities and rewards. And best of all, parents can use the Leapster2 System to connect to the LeapFrog Learning Path, an online, interactive tool in which parents can get updates and see firsthand what their children are learning. For use with any Leapster Learning System (sold separately)..

5 Stars perfect, met expectations

5 Stars Star Wars
Both my sons 6 & 4 enjoy playing this game. It uses basic math as tool to fight and advance.

4 Stars Star Wars Lego for Leapster is a Winner
My son asked for this toy — he enjoys his Leapster L-Max & he is a fan of Star Wars. I got it for him for Easter and he plays with it. He is six and the game challenges him and motivates him to develop his arithmetic skills in a stimulating and exciting way.

5 Stars Great for teaching math and time skills
My 7 year old son loves Star Wars The Clone Wars, so I knew he would like this.

The best thing about the game is the questions get more difficult as the player advances within the chosen level. So, though it may start with single digit number recognition, it advances to double digit number recognition. It may start with asking about general time of day, but then advances to specific time of day and then to reading time on a digital clock.

I recommend this game for pre-K through second grade.

A more detailed description is presented below.

______________________________________________

SPACE

Shoot the correct number to get to navigate through space to get to the ship where the prisoner is held.

Level 1: features recognition of numbers 1 through 10.

Level 2: features subtraction of single digit numbers.

Level 3: features addition of a two digit number with a single digit number.

THE SHIP

To get through the rooms, answer questions about time.

Level 1: questions feature time of day, like when do you usually leave for school (morning, afternoon, evening)?

Level 2: learn how to read time on an analogue clock to the hour.

Level 3: learn to read time on an analogue clock to the half hour.

LIGHTSABER DUEL

Answer the math questions quickly and Skywalker attacks. Answer incorrectly and the enemy attacks. The faster the player answers, the more power they get for their attack.

5 Stars My son loves it!
I really like the Leapster games because of their great educational value. For my son is a wonderful option since he loves to play and makes him realize that learning is like a game and not a boring thing to do.

Welcome to Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker have just learned that a powerful new droid weapon is being built that would give the Separatists the winning advantage. Join these Jedi knights as they race against time to stop what would almost certainly be a fatal blow to the Republic and the Jedi Order! And, you can customize the game online with subjects you’re studying in school.

User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Leapfrog Didj Custom Learning Game Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Great game. My son loves it! He thinks he has the same game as his older brothers on the PSP! I love the didj and the best thing leapfrog has done is make their games customizable!!! That’s better than gold! Again thank you LeapFrog!

3 Stars My boys love it when it’s working
Originally we had BIG problems with the Didj not being recognized by our Mac. This has happened off and on a few times since we got it resulting in the boys losing their hard earned bitz. I was close to sending it back when it finally started working and I saw how much my boys liked it. My 2 boys, 8 and 5 yrs old, LOVE to play the Star Wars game we bought and Power Pack game that comes on the Didj. The boys also love to create their own Didji characters online which then download onto the Didj. My 5 year old guesses a lot to answer the questions so I’m not sure really if he is learning math facts or learning how to guess. My 8 years old IS practicing his math facts while playing. Leapfrog needs to polish the Didj and Leapsite to work together better. We love Leapfrog products and have bought a L-Max handheld. My 5 year old prefers the Didj to his L-Max which we cost us way more $. At first my 8 year old even played the Didj over his DS, but DS seems to be preferred right now though is not as educational. I’m glad I got the Didj for less than $30 on Amazon and I wouldn’t recommend paying the $89.99 full price until the Didj gets an upgrade.

5 Stars This is a great educational game.
leapster star wars jedi math was a big hit with my little boy. would definitely order from this seller again. This game held my 5 year olds attention so much that he ran down 5 sets of batteries.

The best thing about the game is the questions get more difficult as the player advances within the chosen level. So, though it may start with single digit number recognition, it advances to double digit number recognition. It may start with asking about general time of day, but then advances to specific time of day and then to reading time on a digital clock.

5 Stars This is a great educational game.
We bought this game for our six year old son who loves everything Star Wars. We were not disappointed with this game. He loves to play it, and is now doing addition into the twenties and fighting the “bad guys” at the same time (General Grievous and Ventress). He doesn’t seem to ever get tired of it even though it is all math. I highly recommend this product.
