5 Stars Great Quality Cube
This 4×4 cube is way better quality than my old one. The stickers on the old one peeled off soon after use and eventually broke. I have had no stickers peel and no broken pieces on this one. Keep in mind that all 4×4 cubes are stiff to move. But I sprayed silicon spray in it, and it moves beautifully now. If you are going to buy a 4×4 cube, I definitely recommend getting this one.

2 Stars Don’t bother…
With the resurgance of the Rubik’s cube over the past several years, it brought me back and with kids elementary and high school age I wanted to re-experience the fun of 25 years ago with the new generation so I purchased some Rubik’s brand cubes. 3×3, 4×4, 5×5 to share with my kids. They have been a lot of fun. The Rubik’s 3×3 is just as I remembered it. A bit stiff at first but with time (and a little silicon lubricant) it loosens up nicely. My 11 year old has already mastered that one! The 4×4 is a real disappointment though. Very sticky and jams up a lot, even with a liberal dose of silicon lubricant. Also, the 4×4 is very prone to popping cubies when you go too fast. Simply put, the Rubik’s brand 4×4 makes me tired. The Rubik’s 5×5 performs better. In my opinion, don’t waste your money on the Rubik’s brand 4×4. Instead, get a much better value from purchasing an Eastsheen 4×4.

The 4×4x4 Rubik’s cube is very hard to turn, locks up a lot, and pops a lot, too.

What am i saying ??

Well, it’s very hard to turn. If you would like to lubricate it with silicone it doesn’t make it any better.

It locks up a lot – meaning that it gets stuck. You cant turn the layer anymore. You have to twist back or twist other layers to get it back to work. This cube is NOT recommended for speed cubing.

It pops , A LOT. The piece come off all the time. I didn’t have one solve where one piece didn’t come off.

I recommend this cube for beginners. Those who never had any experience with a 4×4. But i do not recommend it to those who want to solve it fast or are annoyed by the lockups [ every second turn it locks up ] and pops [ it pops when you have a lockup and accidentally pushed too hard or you're turning the layers very fast ]

3 Stars good toy
The Nerf N-Strike Maverick a good gun for target shooting, and sneaking up on people when they have their back turned to you. You can stick different types of darts in the gun like Micro darts (suction darts that can stick to glass), Micro sonic darts (whistling darts), etc. The only problem is the gun jams 30% of the time. So it’s best not to be in combat with the gun.

3 Stars Fun for kids and adult
I bought 3 of these for my nephew for his birthday. They were a hit and we used them on our next camping trip. I only have two issues with them. These are definitely not for close use. They do pack a bit of a punch and can sting if hit in the right place. The cylinder for the bullets likes to stick often so you have to work it sometimes. Over all it provide all of us great fun.

This was my first Nerf gun, and I’ve had it little under a year, but it is definetely first in line for my arsenal. Even though reloading’s a bit tricky and tedious at first, it is extremely exciting in a fire fight. And you don’t even have to flip out the chamber. The conveniently placed gaps on the sides make it easy to just slip one in, change the chamber, and repeat. It even has the handy ability to un-cock the firing slide when you want to fake fire it.

Dare I say this, but this little pistol has a greater range than the ‘Longshot,’ or Shortstop, as I call it. Just don’t aim for the eyes…

This thing doesn’t break easily either. I once dropped it while climbing a tree about 20-25 feet up and it didn’t even have a scratch.

I’d say that this is a must have for any Nerf fan, no matter what age. I hope more ideas like this can be used in the future.

1 Star Do not buy the Nerf Vulcan!
Do not buy the Nerf Vulcan! Why? Quite simply…it is garbage! My son recieved one as a birthday gift and he was absolutely thrilled. Imagine his excitement as he opened this up, the mother of all Nerf guns. Wow, the anticipation of being able to blast away his buddies with the ultimate Nerf gun. He was grinning from ear to ear. Priceless! He was going to be the king of the Nerf wars!!! Now imagine his disapoinment after getting it out of the box, assembled, powered up with the 6D batteries(not included) and to have this thing jam within minutes. Not to worry, the instructions state how to clear the jams…except that it jammed constantly…that is until the gears that advance the chain of darts locked up completely. The motor that drives the belt was clanking around and making all sorts of noises, but the gears that were supposed to drive the belt…weren’t. It completely refused to feed the chain. This after loading the chain maybe only 4 or 5 times. Within minutes the thing was DEAD, DEAD, DEAD. Maybe we just got a bad unit? After looking at the number of negative reviews I don’t think so. I am amazed that Hasboro/Nerf would put their name on such a poorly designed product. Great idea, just very poorly executed.

Reasons not to buy:

1 Star Big Disappointment
My son asked for this toy for months, my husband said I shouldn’t spend that much money on a toy gun it probably wouldn’t work the way the advertisements stated. Unfortunately my husband was right. What a disappointment for me and my son. He was so excited when he opened it. We put it all together and it jammed by the 5th dart shot, and repeatedly kept jamming. I reread all the instructions to make sure we had it put together correctly but it didn’t help. My son was so upset. I thought maybe it was just this particular gun had a problem so I took it back and exchanged it for another. It didn’t make a difference the new one did the same thing. I took it back and just exchanged it for one of the other less “fancy & expensive” Nerf dart guns. My son has had more fun with no jamming darts and spends his time playing with the toy instead of trying to fix it.

it’s a great gun but heavy for little kids to run around with all in all i love it and it’s a great gun.

This looked so cool, and the kids were thrilled to get it. But it never worked right, from the first day. It jams all the time. My husband spends a ridiculous amount of time fixing it so that it will work again, only to have it stop working a few shots later. Kids finally got fed up and stopped trying to use it. Complete waste of money as far as we’re concerned.

4 Stars Good sniper rifle.
This gun is a great sniper. It uses streamline darts which gives it great range.the scope isn’t the best, but its better then nothing. The only problem with it, is it can’t stand raids. You need a guy to back you up, most preferably, the Wildfire. Overall a good gun and definitely recommended

The darts get jammed too easily. Does not have the distance I thought it would have. A little disappointed.

4 Stars Cool gun!!
This gun is pretty cool, It shoots about 30 ft. Sometimes it gets jammed and the bullets bend but the overall gun is great. The scope is not very accurate so you will have to point it just a little higher than your target. Overall Its a good gun with realistic loading.

4 Stars Supreme Nerf Gun
I purchased this Nerf gun for my 9 year old grandson and he loved it! It is different from the others since it comes with a bullet belt that allows the child to shoot about 20 bullets in rapid succession. I would strongly suggest you purchase an extra belt clip to add to the gun.

4 Stars Fun, but the Recon is a better buy.
I bought this because my son and I were looking at the Nerf guns to get a second one to play with. I liked the idea of having a sniper like rifle and we had already bought the Recon CS-6. I must say, the Recon was a better buy. This gun is fun, and my son loves the fact we can change it around, his favorite piece being the scope (he’s three so we just target shoot). I’m glad to have purchased the blue model since Nerf now has a yellow version. The bad about the new version is its the same price for less. No extra clip or darts. And though you should never modify these toys, I must admit I did the simple mods that i found online. My son and I had a blast taking the gun apart and seeing how it works. I agree with another reviewer that this gun had Modders in mind as it was very simple to do.

Again, like the Recon I plan on using this gun in a real-world application of Algebra and compare the velocity of the projectiles.

Now if the wife would only let me buy another Nerf gun…
