5 Stars great scooter
I have really enjoy this scooter, even after the spark device quite working. The device has to replaced too often. I like the scooter without the spark device.

4 Stars Razor Spark Scooter review
I enjoyed fast service and mint condition of product when it arrived. Product itself was not as described. Sparks were not as awesome as I thought they should be and the cartridges were used up faster than I expected. Also you can get a 2pk at Target for $10 and online the price is $20 plus shipping.

I like the scooter itself, the wheels seem more efficient with smoother ride than other scooters I have tried, but I don’t think the “Sparks” aspect was really worth the $20 more I paid for it.

5 Stars GREAT HIT WITH MY GRANDSON
Bought this as a gift for my 5 year old grandson…His friends all gathered around him asking for a try at it… he was a big hit… he loves the scooter…. glad I made this purchase and recommend grandparents buy it for grands birthday, etc… they will love you forever!!!!!

4 Stars Fancy name..basic scooter
My 7 year old son saw this scooter on the Disney Channel commercials. What they don’t tell you is that the “spark” cartridges are difficult if not impossible to reorder. My son loves this scooter, but for all the hype and massive price difference you only get two spark cartridges. Just be forewarned that once the sparks are out, all you have left is the basic model. As for its durability, it is great! You get a few colors to choose and it folds down neatly to throw in the back seat of your car or camper.

1 Star Broke the first day
My son was so excited about getting the razor sparks scooter. The first days he got it, he was going down a slight incline and pushing down on the sparks when it broke off one side causing him to go out of control and crash. He was badly scraped on both arms and face. Luckily no broken bones. I called Razor customer service and sent them pictures of how the sparks mechanism broke. They said that the Razor scooter is NOT to be ridden down inclines. It is supposed to be ridden on flat ground only. They also said that the sparks “toy” is not supposed to be held down for long periods of time because it will break. My son still wants the scooter and Razor is sending replacement sparks, but I am not impressed with this product.

Razor A2 Kick Scooter Blue

March 22nd, 2010

Razor A2 Kick Scooter Blue

The original kick scooter just got a whole lot better, making it even more fun for kids and teens alike. Though it’ll never replace the internal combustion engine, the Razor A2 will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one’s shoes in the process. Plus, it’s a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest.

The Razor A2 is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Razor combined the traditional aluminum construction, however, with a number of recent innovations, including a springless shock system that makes bumpy pavement feel smoother than ever and an all-new wheelie bar that guarantees an extra dollop of fun. Add in the foldable T-tube and deck, which tuck together to create a compact footprint (ideal for carrying when riding isn’t appropriate), and you have a great kick scooter for virtually any situation. Other details include an enhanced finger guard, 98 mm inline-style wheels, and a patented rear fender brake for quick stops.

This version of the Razor A2, which weighs around 6 pounds and supports up to 143 pounds, sports blue handlebars, a blue deck logo, and blue wheels and is recommended for ages 5 and older. It’s also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A3 Scooter.

Key Features:

  • For riders ages 5 and older
  • Sturdy aluminum construction
  • Weighs approximately six pounds
  • Retractable kickstand
  • Rear fender brake
  • Enhanced finger guard
  • Patented folding mechanism
  • 143-pound user weight capacity
  • Six-month warranty

The buyer and rider of the Razor A2 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

5 Stars Great gifts for my boys
Great product. I purchased two of them for my boys, and they really love it. Made pretty strong and can be folded easily. It was really easy and fast to put together for my sons. No tools requiered.

5 Stars Pretty good
It was a nice scooter. I got it today and it is awesome. Except im to big for it and does not accomodate my 5′9″ frame. Also the suspension thing is nothing more than a rubber thing. But it works well. Overall, im satisfied.

3 Stars Handle is too short
The scooter is okay so far but the handle is shorter than expected. Yes I tried adjusting it but won’t go any higher!!!

5 Stars Great Scooter
My son uses this scooter all the time, he is 11 years old and this is his second scooter and he just loves this one.

4 Stars great scooter for the $$
bought this scooter for my 8-year-old daughter after looking in stores and reviewing prices online….the size is appropriate, the price was right, and the quality seems good….i am pleased with this purchase.

4 Stars razor scooter
We bought this for my 8 year old. She’s been zipping around and doing stunts since it arrive. Her little sister (6) loves it too.

4 Stars Good and Durable
My 8 year old son like the scooter. Moreover, It is easy to assemble and it doesn’t take much space when put away. It is durable and move smoothly. Actually, it is a good buy fot its price.

5 Stars Just what we wanted
This is exactly the product we wanted for our kids. I bought a blue one for my son too. Happy with the fact that it is adjustable so they can grow into it and it doesn’t take up a lot of space.

It is a little bit difficult for my kids (ages 6 and 8) to fold up on their own though.

Definitely worth the money though, as they get lots of use. Now if only we could little bags to put them for when they get on the bus.

5 Stars Great for my 6 year old
My son loves this – it’s really sturdy and the wheels have a great fluid motion. I appreciate that it folds up compactly. These scooters are very trendy with the K through 3rd grade set in my neighborhood.

I got the Razor A5 Lux Scooter so we can go on scooter adventures together around the city. It’s also very fun – a sturdy grown-up version of the kids’ model.

4 Stars awesome scooter
I bought this scooter for my 6yr old son. It’s an awesome scooter for any age. He loved it so much, he rides everywhere. It’s not heavy, can be carried easily anywhere. Great scooter for great price.
