This Sandwich-Making Wooden Play Set includes colorful likenesses of meaty cold cuts, garden vegetables and fresh bread. The entire pieces feature Velcro inserts, so keeping sandwich creations together is no problem. A play wooden knife rounds out the collection. The kit comes packaged in a 12″ X 10″ wooden crate. I have a daughter that is blind and has other disabilities and this is perfect for her. My 4 year old enjoys them very much as well.

3 Stars Not so Durable
Thought these would be great for play, especially in my daughter’s play house. However, the paint on these is not long wearing. The paint has chipped off and peeled away after getting wet outside and my son using them as a teething toy for short durations before you see that he has found them.Not what you really want. Surprised as the Melissa and Doug toys are usually pretty great quality.

My first experience with Melissa and Doug wood toys and I am very satisfied. I hope the velcro holds up. Bought this for my 2 year old grandson and he knew what to do with it right away, and how to use the knife to cut his sandwich apart.

I bought it on sale, so I got a great price and a great item, too! The set is very well made and durable. Two granddaughters begged for Bendaroos for their birthdays, so I ordered them. They were ecstatic when they opened them and ignored the rest of their gifts. These allow children to be creative – stretch their imagination. It’s fun to watch what they become. Great gift!

5 Stars Bendaroos are terrific
My son is very creative and has spent hours making things with the Bendaroos. At 6 he has alot of ideas and the Bendaroos gives him flexibility in trying to make his ideas real. The product is not messy, the packaging makes clean up easy, as well as storage. I highly recommend for the more creative child.

4 Stars Sister collects Barbie’s and was thrilled
Bought this for a relative who is really picky about her Barbie’s (she is 40) and she has been collecting since her very first one when she was a child. She was thrilled and noted that this Barbie had better (more realistic) proportions. Loved the dress and the face. I was very pleased to have found her another one she loved, and the price was good . SO was not having to fight others in the store near Christmas time to get it:-)

She’s beautiful – all of the Holiday Barbies are – but I don’t consider her a toy, so I gave her low rankings because the question specifically said “toy”. Sure not the Barbies I grew up with!

Price was good and shipping was fairly quick

We LOVE this toy! We have one in the diaper bag and the other one on the baby’s changing table to entertain him when he’s cranky. This is sometimes the only thing that can distract our baby from a meltdown.

5 Stars Can’t live without it!
We bought this on the recommendation of a friend for our 6-month old twins. At first, they just watched the lights. Now at 11 months, they reach for it and prefer it over other toys. The music is fun and upbeat and the lights are great and keep the baby busy. As a mom, I like that the volume has 3 settings: off, low and high. The “high” isn’t really that loud either. We have it set to the lower setting, and turn it off when we put it in the diaper bag. If you don’t push “play” again after the song is done, it stops, so it’s not constantly playing and driving you nuts. Great toy at a great price.

3 Stars New but not …
all that appealing! I like the updated bathing suit that reminds us of the old one in color but I did not like the sparkles they added to the material. I think it makes it look cheap. A nice souvenir of the fiftieth anniversary but not much more than that. And watch out for the scalpers! Can’t understand how Amazon advertised the $3 one for a week and ran out of her in one day!! I paid too much for mine. Other stores are offering it for much less and one had the decency to still sell their second delayed supply at the original price of $3. Talk about character and integrity. Too bad we can’t mention the name here.

The packaging is nice, Barbie is pretty, the whole presentation is good. I bought it because it is the 50 year release and Barbie and I are both 50. I managed to get it the first week at the 50 year price of $3.00 however I would like to have a couple more for my neices but don’t mind paying a fair price for them later. It is a cute remake of an older doll and I still think Barbie is a great girl gift. I played with mine forever.

My grand daughters loved this. The only problems is the hair comes out when brushed by a 3 year old & the shoes are hard to put on and are easily lost. I think it probably should have been recommended for a older child.
