5 Stars Kung Fu Panda storybook
I bought this for my 4 yr old granddaughter and she reads it over and over again. She loves to “read” all by herself with this. It’s not just a toy, but a reading helper.

5 Stars Another good one by Leap Frog
So far, anything that leap frog has put out has been a winner in this house. I incorporated leap frog leapster and tag reader in my son’s homeschool as a type of award-reward!

5 Stars So fun!
My 4.5 yr old son loves this book! He “reads” it all the time, and I have noticed that his speech sounds are improving and becoming more clear. Great book!

4 Stars Kung Fu Panda
My son enjoys using the pen on big words he doesn’t know. It gives him a little more ease when he reads, instead of sitting there struggling. He’s in first grade.

5 Stars TAG!!!! coolest thing yet!
I really like the tag reading system! my daughter plays with this everyday!! Po is one of her favorites! along with the ariel princess one! they read the story fully or you can do it word by word, play games, and make sounds! very cool!!!

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great learning tool
My son is 5 in kindergarten and uses many of the leap frog tools as part of his home school. This particular one is engaging and with the rewards on the leapster web site, I have found he is becoming a child eager to learn.

5 Stars Leapster Wall E game
I bought this game for my son, 5, among other games for the Leapster 2 he got for Christmas. This is the only game he wants to play. He makes snowflakes with the picture making part. He knew his planets and the order previous to playing this game, but now he likes to show off when he doesn’t make mistakes. I think it is a must have for children with a Leapfrog gaming system. Friendly characters and fun games.

5 Stars Wall-E is a HIT!
Our 4 year old received the leapster and 2 highly recommended games for preschoolers (Petpals and Learn to Draw) for Christmas. It was his first ‘handheld’ game and I was hopeful he would enjoy it.

He liked the bunny game that came with Leapster but the other games didn’t seem to challenge him enough to keep his interest for long.

On a hunch, I let him choose his own game from the store and he picked Wall-E. He LOVES IT!!! He plays for hours at a time and is still discovering new games/levels to challenge him. I can’t wait to try more games.

4 Stars My kid loved it!
My kid loved this game. It stays pretty true to the movie and incorporates plenty of learning about the solar system into basic game play. It is similar to most Leapster games, so experienced kids can pick it up pretty quickly. The only annoying part is the “info-mercial” on recycling that repeats every time you play that part of the game!

5 Stars Engaging, Educational and Fun
My 4 year old loves this game. He doesn’t think of it as an educational tool, he thinks of it like any video game. I like it because he is learning so much and it keeps him busy! I often hear him laughing and giggling because of Wall-E’s funny antics. I recommend this game to anyone.

LeapFrog Learn and Groove Radio

LeapFrog Learn and Groove Radio

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars 12 month old loves it!
An instant favorite (but what isn’t when it comes to new toys!). The “pages” are easy to turn and facilitate the child’s learning to interact with the toy while matching push buttons to the associated item with english/spanish translations. The responses are fun and entertaining. We have several Leap Frog toys and most are a good value educationally and economically.

5 Stars The idea toy for our little boy
Our 14-month-old son LOVES this toy. He can’t get enough of turning pages, and this has several plastic pages that not only turn, but make interesting musical trills when they do. The little buttons on the side he loves to push, and when the description of the object on the page is in song form, he’ll dance along. And he loves adjusting the volume, too.

My only two complaints: not enough music to really call this a “radio” (I was hoping for mostly music, as our son loves music) and some of the songs are the same, down to the point where you can hear where the new word is inserted into the same musical track. Seems a bit cheap not to record a new version of the song!

However, the fact that this is very durable and has lots of pages to turn makes this still a GREAT toy. And I’m learning Spanish every time he plays with it in Spanish mode, too!

4 Stars fun learning
My daughter really enjoys music and songs. This little radio has a short song for every image (an english and spanish version). We love that it’s bilingual, since she is learning English and Spanish from us. My daughter loves being independent, so the fact that she knows that she can work it herself it a big plus.

5 Stars A Great Learning Toy
I bought this item yesterday for my Nephew and my husband and I can already tell it is going to be one of his favorites. He loves pushing the buttons and dancing with the music. He is fifteen months old and this is the perfect vehicle to help him along as he begins to speak his first words. I agree with all of the other reviews, in that the english/spanish button is a little too easy to push and I don’t know how confusing hearing the different languages without understanding that they are flipping back and forth on him so quickly is, but other than this, I think this is a wonderful teaching tool as well as a great toy. I don’t think you can ask for more than that :)

4 Stars Our daughter loves this musical toy!
Our daughter has learned many new words in a few short weeks just from playing with this toy. The only drawback it has is that the English and Spanish button is in the center of the toy. So, she is always swithching back and forth.
