5 Stars this is a great swing
We had one of these last summer and have now purchased another for our second little girl. Both girls love them and seem to be totally safe. Our two year old has learned how to unbuckle the waist and crotch straps but she’s definitely not going to slide out from under the tray and fall out so I’m unconcerned about this issue. The tray snaps in very securely and there is a raised portion of plastic between the legs for added stability. Even last year our 6 month old, 15 pound baby could not be taken out of the swing without the tray unattached. Both our girls have little pot-bellies and there is still plenty of room for them between the swing and tray. It is perfect for lounging outside with a few snacks on their tray to keep them happy if we’re not swinging them. The reclined position is the most natural and we keep both swings set this way. If you adjust the seat to the vertical position (very easy to do), the tray is not quite level with the babies body, but this isn’t a big deal to me as we don’t use this position anyway. The first swing we bought did not have the ropes evenly fed through either side, but with a screwdriver and about 5 minutes of my time, I removed the back portion of the swing (where you adjust for the different positioning), and I was able to pull the rope through and level the swing myself. I have read other reviews on this swing, and used other baby swings in the past, and can’t see how this model would flip backwards any more easily than any other style of swing. There are no recalls, so I’m wondering if people are swinging their children too high?! I love that this swing doesn’t have a huge t-shaped piece of plastic wedged between my babies legs and that it is so versatile.
5 Stars Love it!
My Baby Girl Loves This Swing!! She has just recently outgrown her baby swing and misses it dearly. But now she has another great swing. She totally swings herself to sleep. At 6 months old this is perfect. She is able to play outside and enjoys relaxing in the swing, not once has she cried while she has been in it. I just wish it was nice weather everyday so she could use it more.
4 Stars Good value baby swing
This is a great swing for the price It has a 60 pound limit so our baby/toddler’s older sister cannot go on it. Would be nice to include a couple of bolts to hang it. I realize there are many sizes needed and my patio cover has a huge bar so I ended up using a screw and have put tie wraps as a back up.
As usual came pretty quickly too. Again a good value from Amazon as usual.
5 Stars Great swing for babies who can sit up
I needed a swing for my 6 month old baby that would support her back and lock her in. This one does both; they tray across their legs is a comfort and is useful for giving them toys or snacks. There are no holes for their legs which i like b/c that just seems like it would be uncomfortable, their legs rest on the plastic of the seat in this swing. It was easy to hang from my swingset frame hooks, and does well outside in the weather. Also, as she get bigger i can tilt the swing so she can sit more upright.
4 Stars The swing is sturdy and easily installed
The swing is safe and sturdy – The only difficulty is in balancing – Cannot get it to be even – slightly higher on one side = Overall a good product
