Taggies Grabby Elephant

Taggies developmental toys are based on the idea that kids love to rub satin edges, clothing labels and tags!
Taggies Super soft Elephant friend is so easy to grab and hold and so hard to let go of. And what’s that in his belly? It’s his little friend, the Wiggle Mouse. Pull him out and he wiggles right back into place. They’re almost as inseparable as a baby and her TAGGIE! Ages Birth and up.

5 Stars Taggie elephant
If your child likes tags this is the way to go. My daughter loves to play with tags so we decided to get her a taggie. This one was a great choice. It has TONS of tags to touch and feel plus a little pull out toy in the middle.

4 Stars Taggies Grabby Elephant
I purchased this for my 8 month old niece for Christmas. She loved it!!! As soon as we handed it to her, she was playing with (and chewing) all of the tags. I would definitely recommend the product even though it seems kind of pricey for a stuffed animal.

5 Stars Taggies Elephant- So adorable!
My son loves this toy! The jingle is so easy on the ears and there is so much to look at on this one little toy. The little mouse that vibrates is still something my son has not figured out (He is 4 months old) but that is just another new thing that he can discover on this toy for when he gets older/learns more. Whenever my son is fussy I bring out this adorable elephant and he is ALL SMILES! (:

So glad that I received this as a gift.

5 Stars Love it!
My baby absolutely LOVES the taggie elephant! The different colored and textured tags give her lots of options when she’s searching for the perfect tag. I have even washed the elephant even though it has a chime in it. It came out of the washer perfectly intact still. The little mouse on the inside is a perfect little surprise with the vibration sensation. My baby can play with it for hours. Great toy! I would recommend it to others. My baby loves this much more than the taggie books for some reason.

3 Stars Cute, but not worth the money
The elephant truly is as cute as the picture. However, for the money, it’s just not worth it. I bought this for my 6-month old for Christmas. She doesn’t play with it at all. The rattle on the inside of the elephant is too hard for her to grab and pull out. I’m hoping as she gets older and more coordinated that maybe it will engage her more.

Hasbro Elefun

This enchanting activity game will keep younger kids happily distracted, whether it’s played indoors or out. A cute, blue elephant blows 30 feathery, vinyl butterflies from its 4-foot trunk into the air. The trunk, made of flexible plastic, stands straight up when the small, quiet motor in the elephant’s bottom is turned on. Kids use mesh nets (four included) to capture the most butterflies, same-color butterflies, or just catch ‘em period. Requires four C batteries, not included. –Diane Beall

2 Stars Unfun the Elephant
My daughter saw this advertised on TV and talked about it for a month. She finally received one for a gift, and I am very disappointed.

In theory, you load it up with butterflies, switch it on, and the kids love running around catching them (”or scooping them up off the ground” according to the box). In reality, the butterflies do not come out very well. As I sit here, the fan has been running for five minutes without a single butterfly emerging. We frequently shake him or nudge him to try to shake loose a butterfly. Best case scenario, 2/3 of the butterflies come out in a few minutes – the rest will *never* come out.

The hassle factor on this toy is very high. It requires constant adult assistance to open its top and put the butterflies back in. When working (i.e. when butterflies actually come out without shaking and nudging), you’ve got two minutes between reloads.

I will say that while the butterflies are coming out, my 3-year old daughter enjoys it very much. She can usually catch a few, though the butterflies do not get much height from the nose and drop quickly, often very close to or touching the trunk/tube.

If I had bought this toy myself, I’d return it. As it is, I estimate less than a week before it’s relegated to a Goodwill box.

4 Stars A favorite
I can’t believe so many people are disappointed with this toy. At my house, it brings squeals of joy. Every time friends come over, it’s a highlight. I do wish it had more butterflies, but my 2yr old can get the butterflies back in by himself. Make sure your trunk is up really straight and you have strong batteries, then your butterflies will come out.

1 Star fun when it works
I found an ELEFUN game at a garage sale about 6 years ago and had never heard of it before. My boys played and played with it. It seemed to eat up the batteries rather qickly but they absolutly loved it. After a couple of years the fan stopped working, but to our delight they started advertising it on tv so we bought a new one. The newer model was a real disappointment. The fan never really worked and the butterflies came out about one per minute if you hold the trunk open and tap the side- not what any of us had in mind. Sad that they haven’t quite got it right yet- very fun when it worked!

4 Stars Fun for the kids a little work for the parent (repetitios)
My daughter played with Elefun at a playdate and fell in LOVE. So for her 2nd birthday that same friend got it for her as a gift. She’s 3 1/2 and still loves it. It eats batteries but so what? LOL The ONLY downfall is that it’s a very repetitive game for the adult. As much as I adore my daughter, it gets very boring to have to refill the elephant over and over and over. Sometimes all the butterflies burst out of the elephant. I wish they could flutter out a little slower. Other than that it’s sturdy and a lot of fun for the little ones.

2 Stars dissatisfaction, disappointment
My review is that I accidentally placed a duplicate order.

However all attempts to correct prior to shipping which an attempt was made immediately the merchandise was impossible to retrieve with your existing system. The duplicate order was shipped to my winter address which was unoccupied therefore no one in attendance to receive any parcels. Merchandise remained outdoor exposed to the elements of a winter New York. Therefore the merchandise was disposed of, but paid for, upon my return to New York. Consequently, I will no longer recommend or consider Amazon a friendly source of internet shopping

5 Stars Great!
I couldn’t decide which one to buy, so I bought several and dispersed them at Easter to all my nieces and nephews. They were a big hit!

5 Stars Webkinz are great
This elephant is going to be June’s Pet of the Month, which gets you extra prizes when you adopt it online. I’ve just received my Amazon order of 3 Webkinz, with codes intact, so I’m sure they’re fine. Although our local store that sells Webkinz usually has Pet of the Month cheaper, and with free trading cards.

My 6 year old twins love doing the online games, and I am very pleased with the educational value of the Quizzy’s Corner question series. It has a multitude of topics, organized by age. They are also learning a bit of math as they shop, winning virtual cash and spending it.

I enjoy the games as well, and no longer have the urge to purchase a gaming system. This online arcade meets our entertainment needs, without any additional hardware required. Plus, the toy animals are cute, and get played with too.

5 Stars In love with Webkinz
I wanted a “pet” at work as I live there more hours per day than at home. I love Hubert. He is so sweet and I can take a much needed break to care for him online. Very fun and sweet.

5 Stars Buy Webkinz!!!!
My daughter is 9. She loved this elephant. There are 2 different

elephants , this one does not have the stringy hair. This

elephant is the nice plush one.

5 Stars Awesome!
This is my daughter’s 14th Webkinz, she loves animals and looks forward to their arrival. What a great concept!

2 Stars I took it back
I read the other reviews and I was surprised that most seem to like it. My biggest issue was that the game played very quickly. It took too much time to get it ready for the next round of play than it takes to actually play. The premise for this game is great. But they need many more butterflies and a maybe a way to set it up more quickly. It was really frustrating. I never take back toys that were used, but I took this back and my kids did not miss it.

1 Star Disappointed
I thought this toy would be great to help toddlers with hand/eye co-ordination but it just didn’t work right. The air wasn’t strong enough to blow those lite butterflies out, I had to constantly shake the trunk and only 1-4 flew out. This toy was made badly.

5 Stars Lots of fun for my son kind of a drag for me
This is something that is made for solely for the kids it gets repetative but for me only. My 2 year old loves it but after the 12th time of picking up all of the little butterflies im ready to put it away. He doesn’t quite play it the right way but he just enjoys waving the net around while missing all the little butterflies. It’s really precious to watch. I’m sure he will like it even more once he realized that we not supposed to be dancing underneath the floating butterflies but it’s a great gift.

5 Stars Fun fun fun for the little ones!!!!!
My two and four year old thought this was the best game under the tree it is awesome! The batteries lasted a while and do need to be replaced sometimes, but the energy used and giggling that occurs is SOOO worth it. They love to try and catch the butterflies that are floating through the sir and it helps with hand eye coordination too. A must for every family
