4 Stars Very educational
Ordered for my 4 year old granddaughter. She loves Dora and the game. Very quickly learned to do the games herself. She loves this computer.

5 Stars dora
my granddaughter loves Dora she likes having her own computer–something that doesn’t belong to her brothers but she tries to teach them with this software they are older than her but this whole thing seems to be empowering to her and she doesn’t even realize she is learning

3 Stars Not as good as Nickjr.com
I got this game plus the Click Start computer because my 2 year old loves playing games on nickjr.com. I was hoping to lure her away from the computer with this game. But it really does not compare to the games on nickjr.com. The graphics are like Atari-days – giant pixels. And the games just aren’t as engaging. She’ll play with it for a couple of minutes and then asks to go use the real computer.

5 Stars Great Game
My daughter loves this game, the clickstart is a great product. My 3 year old is a wizrd with the mouse and keyboard.

3 Stars Just ok.
Pretty expensive for just 3 games. My 3 year old loves Dora, but just doesn’t seem to like this software. I recommend saving your money- this game is a dud.

Tub Tunes Water Drums

Tub Tunes Water Drums

Bump ba-da-bump bump! Splash-splash! Parents who are convinced their thumping, bumping, smashing children are destined to be drummers, now’s your chance to get them (drum) rolling down that career path. This excellent toy encourages budding musicians to explore principles of rhythm even while they get squeaky-clean. Two drums float in the bath (or wading pool, sink, bucket…). Players beat on the drums with the drumsticks (two included), changing pitch by adjusting the water height of the drums. A clever, waterproof rhythm chart uses pictures of hands to guide drummers in learning five different rhythm patterns. Of course, improvisation is always a great way to learn, too, and kids’ musical imagination will be sparked the moment they lay eyes on these drums. (Ages 3 years and older) –Emilie Coulter

5 Stars A must for the tub
My grandson loves the drum. When he finishes drumming, he turns it over and makes “soup” in it!!!! A must for the tub.

5 Stars Makes bathtime fun!!
We bought these for our 2 y/o son for bath time b/c he is so interested in music. These are awesome! He loves these. The laminated music cards that are included seem like a waste for someone so young. Great way to occupy little ones in the tub!

2 Stars Not for babies or toddlers
I bought this for my toddler grandson as he loves his bathtime and bath toys. Since this comes with drumsticks and it is purely a safety issue, we let him play with them as “bongo drums” following the instructions as to how to “burp” them in the bathwater but used this way (without the drumsticks) they definitly were a dud! I have put them away until he is older and I feel safe with the drumsticks! Perhaps they perform better for the older child.

5 Stars Bang The Drum Slowly…
My almost 6 year old daughter has had these for about two years now. She loves them! This is a great product, very different than the other bath toys out there and teaches kids about music, pitch and all those things I know nothing about. When she is done with her bath she uses the drums to store her bath toys. We are very happy with these water drums.

5 Stars Bath time drums
My boys (2 and 4 yrs) love the drums. We have had these for just a few weeks and they play with them every bath.

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star NOT an Action Toy!
My eleven year old son purchased this toy and BOTH hands fell off with almost no pressure or movement within the first minute or two out of the box. My son used his own saved funds to purchase this. The only reason he gave it a 2-star rating on educational value was because he “learned” to read reviews on Amazon BEFORE making a decision about what to purchase instead of an impulse buy when he sees a new toy he thinks he has to have. As a Mom, I know that is a valuable lesson, along with the experience of taking it back to get a refund. I’m going to let him do the talking at the store. As someone else said, this is NOT an action toy, just, IMHO, an ugly lump of plastic to sit around on a shelf collecting dust and hoping you don’t loose any parts while waiting for it to appreciate, if it ever does.

1 Star Broke 10 seconds after out of the pakage >:(
Unfortunately literally 10 seconds after getting the Brute out of the package his hand fell off while I was trying to pose him. I guess I just had a dud unfortunate but what are you going to do.

4 Stars Read B4 Buying!
This is a great action figure but… the hand will break off if you try to attach him rocket launcher. It is EXTREMELY delicate, but it is a great figure.

3 Stars Great…mostly
I’m a huge fan of McFarlane’s Halo 3 line, but the first War Chieftain I bought broke almost as soon as I removed it from the package. When I tryed to turn the hand, it twisted right off it’s peg. When you are loosenign this figure up, move its hand up and down or left and right or something before you try to TURN it. Do NOT TURN until the wrist joint is loose.

2 Stars Shoddy
It took all of 2 minutes for this figure’s hand to fall off as my son attempted to get the figure’s gun into it. I was able to repair it with some creative drill and super glue work, but was very upset that I had to do any of it. This action figure comes completely unready for any “action”.

Figure is great and detailed. Once you put the gun in his hand dont take it out as the handle is a bit fragile and might break like mine did.

1 Star Not a toy
My kids both have one and both broke very easily. Not durable. I will not buy anymore Halo toys. If you want to buy one and sit it on computer for looks, then your only worry is getting it out of the package without it falling apart. Terrible toys.

1 Star War Chieftain Breaks Too Easily
A real world story …

Because of an unbelievable holiday price, I purchased two of these, one as a Christmas gift for my 12 year-old son, and one for the collectible value later on.

On Christmas morning, it took less than 5 minutes for the War Chieftain’s left hand to break off as my son was trying to position it. It does appear to be a movable joint. While my son is generally careful with his toys, I assumed he must have done something wrong for it to break so quickly.

In an effort to make it look like a “super repair” job, I decided to secretly substitute the extra one I bought with the broken War Chieftain. I opened the package and looked at the left hand. It appeared movable. I gently tried to position it as he had intended (so it could hold the weapon). As soon as I did, I could just tell the turn had twisted the plastic and not actually moved at the joint. With one more movement it would be just as the one my son had …. oops, too late. Yes, it had broken just as the first one had, and I did it to the second one.

This is not durable as a toy. It should only be purchased if you want to display it as a collectible with minimal handling, not actually play with it.
