I tried to puchase the Streamline Darts Refill Pack for my sons. Given the holiday, they are out in both retail stores I looked. I tried on line and was shocked by the price Hasbro is offering. Shame on your company!!! It is unfortunate that you elect to price gouge your loyal parents/children who sponsor your products.

My grandson requested the gun for Christmas along with extra ammo. It is safe to use and has really gotten him up and running. I’m glad to see him off the sofa and away from the hand held games for awhile.

5 Stars A basic necessity!
You will always lose darts so getting replacement darts is a necessity! Worse off, some guns can only take streamline darts so you need these particular darts. Nerf used to sell only 10 packs but recently they’ve been selling 30 packs. I’m a fan of the 30 packs, so if you don’t plan on losing a lot of them, this 10 pack is OK.

You can stick different types of darts in the gun like Micro darts (suction darts that can stick to glass), Micro sonic darts (whistling darts), etc. The only problem is the gun jams 30% of the time. So it’s best not to be in combat with the gun.

Even though reloading’s a bit tricky and tedious at first, it is extremely exciting in a fire fight. And you don’t even have to flip out the chamber. The conveniently placed gaps on the sides make it easy to just slip one in, change the chamber, and repeat. It even has the handy ability to un-cock the firing slide when you want to fake fire it.

Dare I say this, but this little pistol has a greater range than the ‘Longshot,’ or Shortstop, as I call it. Just don’t aim for the eyes…

This thing doesn’t break easily either. I once dropped it while climbing a tree about 20-25 feet up and it didn’t even have a scratch.

I’d say that this is a must have for any Nerf fan, no matter what age. I hope more ideas like this can be used in the future.

1 Star Defective mold prevented attachment of pistol stock
This toy has two components. The front detaches and can be used a compact launcher.

The pistol stock has to be attached to the front component. On the toy we received the stock could not be properly inserted. It was clocked by a protruding mold. In a partly inserted state it could not engage the firing mechanism.

I had to cut away parts of the rear protruding “wings” with a sharp knife and a dremel. After removing parts of the plastic pieces I was able, with some force, to snap the pistol grip firmly in place. It is now locked in place and works as designed.

This looks like a error in the mold or design, not a change manufacturing slip-up.

Once fully assembled it’s a fun toy, but I do not recommend purchasing this until you know Hasbro has eliminated this problem.

Our 8 year old son loves his Longshot! He & all the other Nerf gun warriors in the neighborhood are having a great time! He’s had it for little over 3 weeks now. The only negative thing to say about this toy at this time is that the longer part of the Longshot does regularly “chew up” the bullets as the are being chambered. This leads to a jammed toy & torn up bullets. It is much lighter to carry around than the Nerf Vulcan that his brother has.

I was hestitant to allow my son to buy this item but he convinced me to buy it locally. It is a good thing. The bullets are tore up with just a few hours of play. The guns jams frequently and becomes frustrating to play with it.

Our one real complaint is that, even though this set is lots of fun for older kids and adults, the safety glasses and the scoring vests are sized only for younger players.

And while the included glasses are well made with a pleasant orange tint, they aren’t very adjustable. So if they aren’t comfortable or secure, you might want to replace them with protective eyewear of your own.

Overall, it’s hard to imagine having more fun than we had with these Hyperfire Blasters. We do suspect that it would be pretty easy to lose some of the 24 included darts, especially if you play outdoors on a windy day or in a cluttered basement. Fortunately, you can buy refill packs to replace lost darts or to extend the length of game play.

4 Stars Lots of fun and 4 can play at once
The 4 nerf guns work very well. Comes with a bunch of bullets which do not break easily (but do wind up ALL OVER THE HOUSE). Great to keep a group of kids busy indoors in the winter for awhile, shooting at each other and at targets. Recommend all nerf gun sets, my kids and their friends love them.

I purchased the Nerf Hyperfire Dart Tag for my son’s 9th birthday. It was a big hit! My two boys love to play with it together and any friends that come over love to play it too. They ususally don’t even mess with wearing the vests though. Great indoor activity. Just be prepared to look for missing darts. I will probably need to buy some more darts for Christmas along with more large multi-fire blasters. They would come in handy for friends that come over or for parents!

This set is great! Why? Because it comes with four guns. My brother and I have fun playing battles. We want to get another set so that our friends can play too. Nerf products speak for themselves as far as quality. But value was the shining star with this deal- for $[...] my son got 4 guns, darts, 2 tag vests, and 2 pairs of glasses. This has been alot of fun for our whole family. My 11 year old daughter, my husband and I have all been engaged in serious dart battles. The only problem is the darts “mysteriously” disappearing. Full Auto Design Gives You a Quick-Firing Advantage
The first thing we noticed when we took the EBF-25 out of the box was how substantial it was. The gun itself was large, brightly colored in yellow and orange, and heavy enough for it to be a burden for quick missions; accessories included a tripod, ammobox, and ammobelt. The instruction booklet did a good job of describing the assembly process, which took about ten minutes. There is a handle that allows you to easily carry the gun around, but we would have appreciated a strap even more.

The darts are held inside an ammobox in a 25-shot belt, which is fed through the gun. You’ll feel like Rambo when you carry the gun, or sit it on its tripod for taking out enemies by the bucketload. After we’d installed the required six D batteries (not included), we pulled the trigger to see the gun work methodically through our belt of darts. It took only 10 seconds to blast through the included 25 darts, flinging them thirty feet across the room. We wished there were more darts included in the box since it seemed a bit silly that we needed to spend a few minutes to pick up the ammo, and then reload them onto the belt, after shooting for only about ten seconds. A refill pack can be purchased separately, which, we think, would be a wise investment if you want to effectively beat your enemies.

The gun also has a single-shot mode that lets you shoot with extra precision. Rather than battery powered, you have to pull back on a spring-loaded lever, and then use the trigger release lever to shoot the dart. In our experience, you can achieve a little bit more distance this way than with the auto-fire mode.

Tactical Rail System Allows for Fun Additions
The Vulcan EBF-25 features the Nerf Tactical Rail System, allowing it to use most N-Strike accessories, such as the night vision Tactical light accessory for night-time missions.

My opinion is don’t spend your money on this Nerf gun..was a big disappointment for my son.

This toy does not work! The bullets jam, making it impossible to shoot even a few bullets much less a whole round… a serious bummer for a kid who saw the commercial way too many times. Save your money for something that works!

1 Star What a Letdown!
My son was looking forward to getting this Nerf Gun for his B-day w/his b-day money…I think it’s overpriced for what you get…just like the other comments made…the clip that holds all the nerf bullets jams in the chamber every time and takes all the fun out of the toy..do they not test their products….? This is obviously a manufacturing problem being there are alot of comments made concerning this same problem! My opinion is don’t spend your money on this Nerf gun..was a big disappointment for my son.

1 Star Worst purchase ever
Worst gun ever!!!!!!! at least after the first couple days. If possible, i wouldnt give it any stars. It jammed the first time I used it, and i had to fix it. It jammed at least 3 times when it started to work. It was awsome. I turned on the moter and it never worked again. Its been almost a year now and the stupid thing still dosnt work

If you get this (DO NOT GET THIS!!!!) never use the moter.
