5 Stars Great musical toy, great sound
This musical toy is fantastic. Our granddaughter is fascinated with the music and the flashing colors. It is quite entertaining and the the music plays nice and clear. This is a toy that all parents should have.

5 Stars The BEST Infant Toy We Could Find
Our baby is 3 months old, and loves to look at lights, especially those that move or flash. That being said, those items are hard to find. Most only play about 3 seconds of songs and lights, then you have to activate them again. This toy has 1 large, kid friendly button that activates it. They are then treated to about a minute of classical music while 7 LED lights of different colors flash to the beat. It has made a huge impression on our little one, and brought great relief to us. The music is no CD quality, but is non verbal classical (you have heard all of the songs before) and it is not as annoying as other toys. It doesn’t bother us a bit, but we are former classical musicians. For $10 (or less) IT CAN’T BE BEAT!!

4 Stars Guaranteed smiles…great for picture-taking!
Overall, a great toy. My son really began to enjoy this when he was about 2 months old. As everyone else says, the music is actually really nice–better than any of the other toys we have. But the best thing about it is the lights…something about the way they dance around, it always makes my little one smile. In fact, whenever we want to take pictures of him smiling, we would hold it behind the camera to get big grins from him. The only thing I would change about it would be to make the caterpillar handle a little smaller. He is four months old now, and still cant hold onto it. I am a little concerned that by the time he’s old enough to hold it, he won’t be so interested.

1 Star worthless
the only thing my little girl has ever done with this toy is throw it… she is completely uninterested in this toy.

5 Stars great for tantrums
This toy gets my son’s attention. The music and the lights are a perfect combo. When he throws tantrums or get restless…it always gets his attention. I love it.

5 Stars GREAT TRAVEL ENTERTAINMENT!!
GOT THIS FOR MY GRANDCHILD. THEY TOOK IT ON VACATION TO THE BEACH. WELL MADE AND LOTS OF ACTIVITY FOR HER.

5 Stars favorite
This is my babies favorite toy. I don’t know how many times it’s given me an extra second to heat up a bottle or grab a diaper when she’s fussy. She loves to look at the octopus and smile back at him. I think she’ll probably carry him around when she’s older.

1 Star Misleading Title is Misleading
As I excitedly tore open the package of my brand new Baby Einstein Baby Neptune Ocean Adventure Gym, I thought eagerly of how it might banish the banalities of my everyday. I could almost feel the plush, multi-colored fish beneath my trembling fingertips. It was as if the six classical melodies were already crooning to me as I relaxed on the prop-up whale pillow, my every care melting away. Anticipatory drool began to dribble down my chin as I imagined the On-the-Go plush teething octopus clenched gently between my canines. The thought of detaching him from the gym structure and taking him absolutely everywhere with me was almost more than I could stand; we would be inseparable. I knew that next week’s arrival of Jacque, the Lamaze Peacock, would complete this blissful outfit. And at only 34.5 x 31 x 19, it was sure to fit in my cubicle at the office.

When the box arrived, I asked my secretary to hold my calls for the day so I could spend some quality time with my new entertainment center. The website assured me that my soft activity gym would “come to life with the crisp and colorful real life scenery of the sea.” I took it out of the box immediately and followed the minimal assembly instructions, anticipating a mind-expanding voyage into the deep. With bated breath, I laid my head upon the whale pillow and waited. Turning my face to the side, I screamed in horror at the sight of my sagging, weary face, caught in the flash of the baby-safe, fish-shaped mirror.

Nobody told me a mirror came with this thing. And I don’t own mirrors for a reason. Last summer, my girlfriend found me locked in my bathroom, staring at the mirror while repeatedly slapping my cheeks and screaming the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody over and over in the shrillest tone I could muster. They had to break down the door and drag me out, shortly after which Wanda dumped me for our mailman. I haven’t looked in a mirror since. But I digress.

The point is, folks, that I’ve had adventures, and I’ve been to the ocean. And this product, though promising both, offers neither upon arrival. Promotes trilingual learning? More like trilingual horror. I’m sending this goddamn octopus and his cronies back from whence they came.

5 Stars Entertaining
This is much more entertaining than some of the other themes I have seen out there. It has much more for the baby to do and look at and interact with. There is music (which you can detach that piece and use on the crib) and lights and the big whale with lots of places to hang different things and switch it up. Gotta have this. Don’t always go for just the things that LOOK cute. This looks cute and gets the job done!

5 Stars We’re having a blast!
The baby einstein gym has been really helpful with baby’s tummy time and early development. She especially likes the mirror and octopus attachment. I appreciate how helpful it’s been setting it up next to my desk as I try to get a few chores done.

5 Stars LOVE IT!
We LOVE this toy! We have one in the diaper bag and the other one on the baby’s changing table to entertain him when he’s cranky. This is sometimes the only thing that can distract our baby from a meltdown.

5 Stars Can’t live without it!
We bought this on the recommendation of a friend for our 6-month old twins. At first, they just watched the lights. Now at 11 months, they reach for it and prefer it over other toys. The music is fun and upbeat and the lights are great and keep the baby busy. As a mom, I like that the volume has 3 settings: off, low and high. The “high” isn’t really that loud either. We have it set to the lower setting, and turn it off when we put it in the diaper bag. If you don’t push “play” again after the song is done, it stops, so it’s not constantly playing and driving you nuts. Great toy at a great price.

5 Stars this is awasome
this is her favorit toy. its small enough to carry and so easy for her to push the buttons to play the music. yhe music wasn,t to loud either.

5 Stars Lovely music, great price

My twin grand-daughters are 10 months old and they really enjoyed this toy. The music is great and it’s light weight enough to go in the car, crib etc.

5 Stars Baby Einstein Takealong Tunes
This is the cutest and it plays music and the colors are great. My granddaughter is only 3 months old and she just loves it.
