3 Stars Good for toddlers learning about animals
My daughter is one and loves animals and magnets, but these don’t hold her attention for very long. I like them for teaching her about animals and animal sounds, but she won’t play with them on her own. They are also too thin for her to easily take off the refrigerator and put them back on.

I also bought the LeapFrog Fridge Farm Magnetic Animal Set, and that’s much better for keeping her entertained on her own. (The pieces are chunkier and have optional sounds and music).

Overall, good images of animals but probably good for kids who are a little older.

5 Stars Very colorful and nice
I bought these for my children for Christmas. They are very nice. I think they would be very good for teaching animal names and sounds etc. If your child is teething it wouldn’t be very good as the front is just glosed paper glued to wood and then to magnet and will tear if chewed on. They stick to the refridge fine aand don’t slide around. They are not as fun to paly with as the abc magnets that are under this brand because you can only do so much with animals but they are enjoyed as well.

4 Stars Just One Complaint
My only complaint is that the images are glued-on paper without a laminate layer over them. If your kids tend to dunk things, stick things in their mouths, etc, the images will not last long. Very cute though, nice variety of animals, and insofar as they have lasted my kids love them.

5 Stars Fun Toy
My little girl loves these. She can now name all of the animals and she enjoys re-arranging the on the fridge.

5 Stars Activity center on the frig
Fine quality magnet toys for a small play station on your frig is the perfect extra activity for a small child. Although these are recommended for older children, I use these with my grandchild at age 1, with high supervision. I sit next to this location to make sure nothing goes in her mouth. Since small children like making animal sounds and communicating by pointing, this makes for a nice game between grownup and child.

I was also happy to see that even the box is strongly made and splinter free for gathering pieces for the back and forth play.I would recommend it with the caution that children must be supervised at younger ages.

5 Stars Neat
This is another something different from the books and so educational even for adults. These Activity Cards are tab together so you don’t have to worry about picking up all the cards all the time.

Great Gift Idea!

Leapfrog needs to come out with something NUMBERS to go with this Tag System!

5 Stars Tag Reader Activity Cards
This is an amazing idea. It seemed strange at first that you had to twist the card to the top and that the second half information is on the card below it. However, You get used to it quickly. My daughter loves everything about these cards (we have both sets). It made traveling so much easier! I don’t think we would have made a 10 hour car trip in one day without the use of these cards. Thanks LeapFrog! During that vacation, we went to the zoo and she was able to tell me details about most of the animals and the sounds they make. I learn something new from these every time she plays with this set.

5 Stars Great Idea!
This is a great product and my son loves playing with it. It is perfect for helping him learn to read.

5 Stars Very neat and educational
My girls love animals and learning about them. This is so much fun for them and they play with it all day long. It has several pages and on each one are two pages on each type of animal. one side gives a picture of the animal with the name and the other page gives a couple facts and where the animal lives and if it is endangered or not. It also tells if it is a reptile or Amphibian, ect. Very informative.

4 Stars Great addition to the Tag line up
Our five year old and three year old have gotten a lot of mileage out of the tag since we bought it. The books seem to get a little old after awhile but the animal cards have kept them rolling. One of the best features to the cards are the animal sounds. They love to tap the card with the monkeys… over and over and over again. Not recommended for parents that find repetitive sounds annoying. For me it’s great, anything that keeps them occupied for 15 minutes is good in my book.

4 Stars Our daughter likes this a lot
Our 10 month old loves to spin it to keep sounds or music going :)

I appreciate that the volume isn’t too loud in the low setting (a real problem in too many toys)… the variety is good: the music, animal sounds and letter settings are all different. Note that the animal sounds are a bit exxagerated… they had to find an animal with “X”, so they say “X-Ray Fish” (not even sure that’s a real fish!) and of course the sound is made up.

A good buy, since “spinning” is a pretty interesting concept to have a baby figure out.

5 Stars My 8 month old daughter loved it at 6 months and still loves it at one year!
We also bought this for a friend’s first birthday and she loves it. It has at least three settings, one for just abc’s, another for the animals, and the third for both, including singing the abc song.

5 Stars Fantastic choice!
I bought this toy for my 15 month old son and he loves it! It’s easy to use and very durable considering a little boy is putting it to the test.He loves the music although it can be a little repetitive for the parents, but I can overlook that when I see how much fun he is having.

4 Stars Fun for all ages :-)
We got this as a Christmas present for our daughter (when she was 4 months old). We set it up on her high chair to keep her entertained while we made her food. It took her a week or so to figure out that she has to spin the middle part and now she loves this being a part of her routine. She only plays with it for a couple of minutes while the food is being warmed/prepared so it doesn’t reach the annoying level – but I can see how it could. I do have to say that I’ve never heard an x-ray fish, but I don’t think it’s sound is bzzzz. Other than that, I think this is a great toy to teach even younger kids dexterity and older kids about the alphabet and different animals (regardless or how silly the sounds may be). My daughter actually gets a kick out of it when I try to imitate the crazy sounds!

5 Stars Love it!
This is a very sturdy and educational toy. My one yr old would repeatedly drop it but it’s still in great shape. I love the feel of the product overall…it feels firm not flimsy. This toy automatically turns itself off when not in use and you have two different volume controls. My 4 yr old also tries to take it and play with it :) . The music is fun and engaging….my 1 yr old dances to it:) too cute… All in all I love this…I bought for my 1 yr old for her birthday.
