User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Decent
Overall a good helmet. There is a plastic piece in the back where the straps mount; it sticks out slightly causing discomfort to the back of your head.

5 Stars Very Good Helmet; Great Value
This helmet is well-designed. It’s as cool as a helmet can be (I wear one only for safety, not as a fashion statement) and the dial adjuster is excellent. It fits snugly and comfortably. The visor is a plus. I wish Amazon’s Super Saver shipping was faster. I know they can expedite the order for the same cost.

5 Stars Sizes Small to Large
You won’t need to worry about this helmet fitting you unless you have an exceptionally large head. Fitting anyone with 54cm to 61cm That would be small to Large. Helmet fits snug without binding and is comfortable, airy and light. AAA rating in my book.

5 Stars Saved my head
Excellent helmet…comfortable, easily adjustable, and most importantly it save my head in a crash. Not even a headache! I’ll be replacing my broken helmet with a new Giro Indicator.

5 Stars Nice Helmet… Useful, good fit and good looks…
A nice helmet that I use to commute around town… very useful with excellent looks and fit for its price…

Learn to hit like a pro. There are three ways to play with Triple Hit Baseball, so anyone can learn. Beginners can hit from the tee to teach hand-eye coordination. In Rookie mode, balls pop up automatically, one after another. In pro mode, balls will be pitched automatically from up to 10′ away. Includes battery-powered trainer, bat and three balls. Adult assembly required. Requires 4 “D” batteries (not included).

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great for the baseball enthusiast!

There is some small assembly when you get this toy, but it’s super easy, and takes five minutes. It works fantastic. I even had fun hitting the balls in my house. My son is 3 y.o and likes hitting the ball from the t-stand. The balls so far have not gotten stuck. I do wish it came with more balls, b/c you spend so much time chasing them. Overall, does what it promises, no problems, and I would recommend this toy.

4 Stars just as described!!!
This is a great product. My 4 year old son and his 2 year old sister have already played with the batter a lot!!! It definitely helps with skill set for my 4 year old and I think it will do so for some time to come. The only suggestion I would have is 3 balls are not enough….contact Fisher Price for more!!!

2 Stars Doesn’t hold up to 3 year old play….
My three old grandson played with this using the middle level of pitching balls for about 10 minutes when the batteries had to be replaced! I was very disappointed in it’s quality.

4 Stars cscarter
This toy is great fun for my 2 year old grandson and 6 year old granddaughter. My order was shipped promptly and received in less than a week. Thanks!!!

4 Stars a great way to learn to hit a baseball
I bought this toy for my grandson’s 4th birthday. He loves baseball and really enjoys this toy. He likes to have the ball pop up rather than use the toy as a tee, but he does sometimes use the tee. After he hits the ball, he runs around the yard, then picks up the ball and starts over again. I think this is a wonderful toy to help train a child to hit a ball. It saves the parent from having to stand their and keep throwing the ball to the child. I definitely recommend this toy for any child (boy or girl) who loves to play baseball!

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Fits nicely in my living room
Love it. Fits in my livingroom but still keeps my 18 mth old busy.

4 Stars Great climbing toy
I purchased this toy for my grandson (age 19 mos.) He spends quite a bit of time playing on and around this toy, also using the balls that came with it. Very definitely worth the price.

4 Stars Great Outdoors or Indoors
This poduct was used for my own children as well as daycare children. It is easy to put together and the children love it!!

4 Stars best indoor active play toy
I got this slide for my daughter when she was 16 months old. We needed a toy for her to climb — so instead of saying, “Don’t climb this!” we could say, “Go climb that!” We were also facing a winter in the Northeast when playground play might not always been possible.

This toy is great for physically active children. My daughter uses it every day (a claim I can make for only a few toys). She particularly loves slide (of course) and the basketball hoop.

I don’t love that the basketball is not to scale with the soccer ball and the football, and I don’t love that there is a hole on top, ostensibly for throwing the football through, but it is irresistible to toddlers as something to throw themselves through! Not withstanding such a head bonk, we are very pleased with this toy.

I am optimistic that she will be able to use this for several years to come (my guess is that it would work for an average-sized 4 year old) and that it will lend itself to pretend play as well. There is a hole to climb through so that the child is under the slide. It is supposed to be used as a soccer goal, but I think it would make a nice entrance to a fort.

I will also note that assembly required brute force and liquid dish detergent as lubrication.

4 Stars Endless enjoyment
Even though this toy is slated for 18 month and older, we bought this for my daughter when she turned a year thinking she would enjoy us putting her on the slide. Plus, she would grown into it. My daughter’s response to the climber was not what we imagined. She was immediately challenged by it and within two weeks of our setting it up our 13 month old was capable of going up the climbing wall and down the slide independently. She LOVES it!!!!!! She also enjoys playing with the balls and has most recently has begun putting the basketball into the hoop. The climbers size allows you to easily move it from place to place. We have had it both in and out of doors. For the money, I am pleased. My only complaint was that it was not the easiest to assemble.

4 Stars Adapter
The adapter was bought for the click start game. We prefer using the adapter over use of batteries. It has been working just fine.

5 Stars a must buy
Don’t use the product without the ac adaptor. You will have to replace batteries too often.

1 Star terrible
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my three year old. My older son did just fine learning on an ordinary computer. I thought this would be even better. It is useless. Especially the mouse. I could not use the mouse as an adult. No way is this a meaningful training tool for a kid. Totally frustrating experience for my son.

1 Star LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer Adapter review
Basically the adapter proved useless. The computer flashed a low battery warning on screen every 3 seconds when it was running from this adapter. I ended up using a universal adapter, purchased for $[...] running at 5V instead.

5 Stars Must have!
After reading the reviews I thought the adapter was necessary.

If you like spending your money you can use batteries, but it’s really worth it to buy the adapter, it will pay for itself & you don’t have the trouble of installing batteries every couple weeks.
I never had one of these as a kid, but I saw it on an episode of House, and decided to get one as an adult. Sure it’s silly, but we all need silly every now and then.

3 Stars Without a doubt…
My son took my magic 8-ball off my desk today while I was surfing on Amazon. I took the Magic 8-ball and asked “Should I write a review about you, Magic 8-ball?” The reply was “without a doubt”, so here I am typing up my review.

I do not know or remember where this Magic 8-ball came from. I only know that it seems to have always been here, on my desk. I have moved houses a few times, and it always ends up back on my desk. I am not sure why it stays there because I have never used it in the course of my business. I try to save it for the really important questions that life throws my way.

For instance I asked it today “Are we in a depression?”, the reply was “better not tell you now”. So I was confused and asked “will you tell me later?” and it responded “ask again later”. Isn’t that amazing? I can’t wait for later to find out the answer.

The Magic 8-ball has usually steered me in the right direction. An example would be a few years ago I asked “Should I invest in Enron?”, the Magic 8-ball replied “my answer is no”. Wow, did that save me a ton of money! How could it possibly know that Enron was going to fail? Oh wait, its MAGIC!!!

Now there have been a few times when the Magic 8-ball has been not only wrong, but horribly wrong. The most recent was a few weeks ago when I turned from my desk and saw my dog chewing an electrical cord. I asked the Magic 8-ball “should I go unplug that electrical cord to keep the dog from getting shocked?” The Magic 8-ball replied “my sources say no”. So I did not unplug the cord.

I turned around and focused on the work I was doing and then a few minutes later I hear some weird noises and smell burnt fur. What is happening? Then I remembered the dog. By the time I spun around the dog was on fire. Not a huge raging fire, but enough of a fire to light 4 or 5 cigars at once. I yelled at the dog “STOP, DROP, AND ROLL!!”, but when that did not work I realized I had never trained her to use that technique, something I must remedy later. I ran over and was about to stomp out the fire, but then realized it might hurt the dog, and more importantly I was barefoot, so I ended up throwing my margarita on her, luckily for her I had that drink in my hand so early in the day. I am sure it was past five o’clock somewhere. That put out the fire and taught me a good lesson, never ask the Magic 8-ball any questions regarding electricity. Good to know.

An update on my dog, she is fine now. We had to cut off the burnt fur and used our Wahl 79900N Clip-N-Trim 23-Piece Complete Haircut Kit, while not specifically made for fur, it did a fine job. And the fur will grow back eventually. The good part is she no longer likes the taste of extension cords.

PS: I figured enough time had passed to re-ask my “Are we in a depression?” question and the Magic 8-ball replied “Most likely”. Oh well, hope it does not last long.

5 Stars lots of fun!
FUN FUN FUN, a wise word for every day, helps to solve problems about every matter… always at my night table, also, a cool decoration item.

5 Stars Instructions people, read em, its not that hard, really, lol
First of all let’s just clear something up about all these negative reviews: as for popping off parts, in the instructions it SAYS that parts are made to pop off during transformation so that if YOU the user was forcing it too much, it will pop off (and can be easily popped back on) instead of snapping and breaking off (like if you were to force an older gen Transformers figure). Its a feature to save kids from breaking their brand new favorite Bumblebee people. Try reading the instructions.

Admitedly, yes, several of the new movie Transformers have some of the most insane Transformations I have ever seen in a Transformer. I think its impressive and wowed me. It was a lot more like the way they move about in the films. Gone are the days of flip the calves/feet down, pop out the arms, rotate torso, flip up head DONE. And there is a very good reason for that: creating a FAR SUPERIOR robot mode. The robot modes are so impressive in these new Transformers its insane and this Bumblebee is TOTALLY my favorite. He’s extremely close to be the spitting image of his on screen self. Amazing head sculpt with perfect detailing, even his chest plate folds down in the center like its supposed to on film (which its not flipped down all the way in package, just FYI). I love this figure to death. Its one of my favorite Transformers ever, and I’ve been messing with these things since Bumblebee was just a little Bug with articulated arms and a flip up head that couldn’t turn and a hologram logo on his chest/roof. This figure is amazing. Period. The kid in me that loves robots and cars is happy in both modes. The adult in me that can respect sculpting, articulation and engineering is even more wowwed. Don’t listen to these haters. If you love Transformers, want the best Bumblebee ever made, and can READ SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS properly, then do not pass up this amazing toy!

2 Stars Really hard to put together
As a robot, the toy is pretty cool. The minute my five-year-old asked me to help him transform it into a car, things went poorly. Almost immediately, the head fell off and would not go back on. Finally, I got it to stay. Then the cannon fell off. It too goes back on with effort, but falls off again immediately. Two other little yellow pieces came off too, about every five seconds. After a half hour of putting things back that kept falling off and following the VERY unclear instructions, I was able to figure it out for myself enough to get it mostly in the shape of a car. The doors wouldn’t shut and the cannon had to be removed to get it there, but I did it sort of. My son then played with it for another half hour and was able to get the doors closed. I hate the piece of junk and would rate it zero stars, but to be honest, my son likes it.

2 Stars A waste of your money.
I recently bought a Transformers Revenge of teh Fallen Bumblebee toy. Let me say, that this toy, and all of the others are a waste of your money. It is nearly impossible to turn the robots into cars, or vice versa. Don’t waste [...] bucks on this.

2 Stars Not For Your 5 Year Old
Def not for your 5 year old, I am 35 and spent close to an hour transforming. This is more for the fan collector who will change every now and then for display. Wont last long at a 1st grade show and tell. Instructions, Bahh hopeless, and who posted the review “read instructions” must have been reading the lines and arrows. Instructions are of no use, better off just breaking the thing and putting it back together yourself.

4 Stars A Bumblebee that really stresses, “More than meets the eye…”
I passed this guy up my first few trips to the store in favor of better figures (leader Prime and Megatron). He didn’t look all that great in the package. I finally picked him up with Deluxe Skids, and even then, didn’t bother with him until after I messed around with Skids for a while, who is also cool. Once you actually start messing around with the toy, you can see the charm it has, much like the actual Bumblebee character. The head sculpt is dead on. The detail in robot and car mode is very nice. It’s a well articulated figure, and can stand and be posed fairly well. Turning him into car mode takes a little finesse to get complete, but it’s not a complex transformation like Prime. Yes, pieces pop off, but like some of the more observent reviewers have pointed out, they are meant to do that so the brand new toy isn’t permenently broke. They go back easily, and stay on. The gun arm is MENT to come off in car mode. A very cool and fun figure.

4 Stars Adapter
The adapter was bought for the click start game. We prefer using the adapter over use of batteries. It has been working just fine.

1 Star LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer Adapter review
Basically the adapter proved useless. The computer flashed a low battery warning on screen every 3 seconds when it was running from this adapter. I ended up using a universal adapter, purchased for $[...] running at 5V instead.

5 Stars Must have!
After reading the reviews I thought the adapter was necessary.

If you like spending your money you can use batteries, but it’s really worth it to buy the adapter, it will pay for itself & you don’t have the trouble of installing batteries every couple weeks.
Keep little ones safe from kitchen accidents with this Oven Front Lock. It features a special heat-resistant latch and adhesive that mounts it to the front of a stove. It can be used on ovens that are flush to kitchen cabinets. Incorporates upgraded materials and styling to better complement newer kitchens and home decor.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars The Best! And Great for Dishwashers, too!
I love this product! My son has figured out (or broken) EVERY child safety lock we have except this one. It is so nice knowing he can’t open the oven, since he started doing when he was only 8 months old and in his little walker. We also bought it for the dishwasher, too, because like most dishwashers with knobs that spin around to turn it on, if it’s in the locked position – it will turn on. This way, we can lock the door so he can’t open it by using the lock shown above, and we can keep the dishwasher in the unlocked position so he can spin away and it won’t turn on. It was a lifesaver for us! My son is now almost 4 and still can’t figure it out. I recommend it to everyone!

3 Stars Fell off our oven
This worked great for about a month and then one night we were baking something in the oven and heard a thud on the floor. The adhesive must have given out and it fell off the oven. Not sure what we’ll do now that we can’t trust the adhesive…

Also, if you have a self cleaning oven, you’re limited on where you can place this lock; the oven’s self cleaning lock lever interferes with the placement of this lock.

3 Stars Not for all ovens
The lock seems to be of very good quality, but unfortunately I cannot install it since it is blocked by my oven’s handle. It is an old oven and thus it might not be common, but I’ll have to wait to have a new one to test the product.

5 Stars Really works!
This was very easy to install and my 14 month old can’t pull the oven down anymore. It’s very simple for an adult to open and lock, but very effective in keeping the kids out!

2 Stars Does not work with all ovens
Before buying this check to see if it will work with your oven. We ordered it and it won’t work with ours because our oven handle is very close to the top of the door and the oven lock flap gets caught on the handle when closing it. We have a kitchen aid oven with a thick rounded handle spanning the width of the door. Looks like it would have been a good product if it worked for us, though. This seems to be happening with much of this baby-proofing stuff we’ve ordered online. Be careful to consider how each item will fit for your application before buying.

3 Stars Walking wings review
I think the product is well designed and good ergonomically, but for some reason my child gets used to leaning forward and it doesn’t work as well anymore.

3 Stars 1, 2, 3….JUMP!
I bought this for our family bungee nights. It used to just be me and the wife, but with the “Walking Wings Learning to Walk Assistant” we can now heave junior over bridges and ravines with no problems at all! Look out below!!!

5 Stars Wonderful Product For Children With Special Needs!!
I recently purchased this product for my 2 1/2 year old special needs son, whom refuses to walk. He is happy crawling everywhere but does occasionally like to walk (when it is his idea) with an adult holding his hands. I thought maybe this would be a waste of money, but so far it doesn’t seem to be the case. My son’s face lights up when I put him in this. He is so happy in this that he walks all over the house for 25 minutes before tiring of it!! He could never do that with me holding his hands for that long!! He has no balance at all, so I feel that this is definitely necessary for teaching him balance. I noticed that having the straps adjusted very low and close to his back, make him more stable and he has an easier time walking. Of course, I am hunched over, but who cares!! He is loving it and I am hoping and praying that some day he will be able to walk unassisted!!! I highly recommend this product for parents with special needs kids. This is a must have!

1 Star poor design; not at all useful
I thought that this might help my 6 month old daughter learn to walk, but I was very disappointed in this product when it finally arrived. Already a few of the reviews mention the negatives, which are

1. The baby tends to learn forward because the straps are not attached at a natural location.

2. The straps are too close together for a small baby (this is supposed to be a one size fits all, but the product is obviously meant for bigger kids).

1 Star Real review, I don’t work for the company
This is the most ridiculous waste of money and time. As any real parent knows, kids learn to walk in about a week. After that, you can’t strap ‘em in fast enough. Why anyone would pay $30 plus S&H for something to use for 10 minutes is beyond me. It’s unreasonable to assuming that you’re going to walk around like Frankenstein keeping baby from falling. Well, baby needs to learn to fall and get back up…that’s how they build up their leg muscles. Secondly, 90% of kids learn to walk while wisking around holding onto the furniture. save your money and back and let jr. learn to walk on their own.

5 Stars Sharp looking helmet
Really like the look of this helmet, got the carbon fiber looking one but more important the fit is excellent. i was leary about purchasing online with the whole “universal fit” thing but with the online reviews coupled with the microdial on the rear part of the helmet you can really dial it in securely to your head. Hope i never have to test out its crash protection rating.

5 Stars Fantatic Helmet
The helmet fits well, looks good, and is well ventilated. what more could you ask for? the removable visor is also a plus. I would recommend this helmet to anyone.

4 Stars Light and Comfortable
The helmet is very ligthweight and fits well. Its not nearly as bulky as some of the cheaper helmets and is adjustable enough to get a good, comfortable fit.

4 Stars A newbie bicyclist that’s happy with this helmet
I just started bike riding again after not having ridden since I was a teenager. Back then if you wore a helmet, you were laughed at. Nowadays I think you’re foolish if you don’t wear one.

I knew that I wanted one that was comfortable first and stylish second. With the Giro Indicator Sport Bike Helmet I have both. The initial fit was pretty easy and I was ready to go riding within about 10 minutes. I like that it’s lightweight and breathes nicely. Also I have long hair and as another reviewer mentioned it’s easy to put into a ponytail and slip through the back for better comfort.

Overall an excellent helmet and I think the reviews show that. The price is worth it especially if it ends up saving your life.

5 Stars Nice helmet
New biker and just getting into the whole bike accessory thing — I tried several helmets and for me, this one was the most comfortable and stlyish without looking too goofy. I went with the Titanium color. I like the numerous adjustments available to get a comfort fit. Easy to put on and buckle up and light and cool. For price, I think a great buy.
