Hasbro Elefun

This enchanting activity game will keep younger kids happily distracted, whether it’s played indoors or out. A cute, blue elephant blows 30 feathery, vinyl butterflies from its 4-foot trunk into the air. The trunk, made of flexible plastic, stands straight up when the small, quiet motor in the elephant’s bottom is turned on. Kids use mesh nets (four included) to capture the most butterflies, same-color butterflies, or just catch ‘em period. Requires four C batteries, not included. –Diane Beall

User Ratings and Reviews

2 Stars I took it back
I read the other reviews and I was surprised that most seem to like it. My biggest issue was that the game played very quickly. It took too much time to get it ready for the next round of play than it takes to actually play. The premise for this game is great. But they need many more butterflies and a maybe a way to set it up more quickly. It was really frustrating. I never take back toys that were used, but I took this back and my kids did not miss it.

1 Star Disappointed
I thought this toy would be great to help toddlers with hand/eye co-ordination but it just didn’t work right. The air wasn’t strong enough to blow those lite butterflies out, I had to constantly shake the trunk and only 1-4 flew out. This toy was made badly.

5 Stars Lots of fun for my son kind of a drag for me
This is something that is made for solely for the kids it gets repetative but for me only. My 2 year old loves it but after the 12th time of picking up all of the little butterflies im ready to put it away. He doesn’t quite play it the right way but he just enjoys waving the net around while missing all the little butterflies. It’s really precious to watch. I’m sure he will like it even more once he realized that we not supposed to be dancing underneath the floating butterflies but it’s a great gift.

4 Stars A favorite
I can’t believe so many people are disappointed with this toy. At my house, it brings squeals of joy. Every time friends come over, it’s a highlight. I do wish it had more butterflies, but my 2yr old can get the butterflies back in by himself. Make sure your trunk is up really straight and you have strong batteries, then your butterflies will come out.

5 Stars Fun fun fun for the little ones!!!!!
My two and four year old thought this was the best game under the tree it is awesome! The batteries lasted a while and do need to be replaced sometimes, but the energy used and giggling that occurs is SOOO worth it. They love to try and catch the butterflies that are floating through the sir and it helps with hand eye coordination too. A must for every family
