80 x 27 Jump o Lene

Featuring an 82-inch jumping surface, the Jump-O-Lene can accommodate two little jumpers. The attached three-ring, 1.75-foot safety retainer wall has drain holes to prevent water from accumulating when used outside. The bouncing mattress is constructed of two separate heavy-duty vinyl cushions for extra bounce. The vinyl is UV-damage resistant, and a repair kit is included. Supports a maximum of 120 pounds. Inflates with any air pump, or a 120-volt AC electric pump, sold separately. The Jump-O-Lene inflates to 82 inches deep and weighs 21 pounds.

1 Star Unsafe; walls too low
My 2-year-old flipped out of this right away. We took it down after 1 hour. Our 1-year-old almost flipped out too and probably would have, if I kept it up. The walls are simply too low for this to be safe. Flipping out of it, my son snapped his neck. He was fine, but I was worried about what could have happened. Also, the two children crashed into one another all the time, hurting one another. Mainly due to wall height, this is an unsafe product. Sure, it was plenty fun for them. It’s too bad it did not work out.

Another thing to note is that there is a strong vinyl smell (which is supposed to be toxic, right)? In addition, the product is very large and didn’t really fit anywhere without taking up a whole room. It takes a long time to inflate with an electric pump, so once it’s up, it’s up. Do not buy.

3 Stars great at first but don’t get a hole in it.
This was good while it lasted. Then once one hole came, I patched, then patched again. Even a the seams. I wished it came with a nice patching kit. I would have given it more stars. It is very large and you need an air compressor to pump it up.

1 Star poor product
This was a Christmas gift for two young girls. After two weeks the center chamber (floor) of Jump o Lene deflated. We contacted CMS worldwide and reported the problem. They made suggestions as how to fix the problem. Nothing worked. We called and emailed the company. They emailed and stated they would send a patch kit. That was the middle of January. It is now the end of March and we haven’t received the kit or has the company returned any further calls or emails. We will not be purchasing another Jump o Lene nor will we be purchasing another product from CMS worldwide.

4 Stars much loved
Our previous styled Intex Jumpolene was a much loved addition to our playroom (got us through the winter!) The walls were styled differently (vertical panels) and had a problem w/ leaks, however the bottom never had an issue. We finally broke down and purchased another – now w/ the horizontal-ring walls. We’ve had it for a month and they love it just as much and we’re hoping for better luck w/ the new walls. Would recommend.

5 Stars A worthwhile investment each year
This will be the third jump-o-lene we’ve purchased over three years. Why? Because kids LOVE it. But if you think an inflatable trampoline is going to survive more than one season of bouncing and jumping from lots of kids, you’re kidding yourself. This one’s made out of very thick vinyl, with multiple air chambers to inflate. Our past two lasted about one season each, developing leaks only toward the end of the summer. Last summer, my daughter discovered the joy of repeatedly leaping off the 5-foot platform of our jungle gym into the jump-o-lene – both it and she survived the whole summer :-) As a final hurrah, we put the jump-o-lene out for our neighborhood block party in September, and as many kids as possible climb in and bounce around. The repair patches don’t work all that well, because of the constant stress placed on the vinyl from the kids bouncing. So we just bite the bullet and buy a new one each year. (Amazon’s price, by the way, is as good as it gets!)

An important note – if you’re going to leave your inflated jump-o-lene outdoors all season, make sure you flip it UPSIDE DOWN when not using it, so that rain does not collect inside the jump-o-lene. You’ll be sorry if it does! We found this out the hard way, when a steady rainfall filled our first jump-o-lene with water. As mentioned by another reviewer, a water-logged jump-o-lene weighs about as much as a baby elephant, and the water is nearly impossible to drain out. It took my husband over half a day, with an elaborate system of chopsticks, buckets, and hoses, to drain all the water out. Needless to say, we never made that mistake again.
