5 Stars Great toy
My son loves. Can’t get enough of it. Great for both boys and girls

5 Stars Good toy for multiple ages
I bought this for my 7 year old boy who became very curious about electronics and was deconstructing all of our old cell phones and electronics. I hoped that this kit would help him make things instead of break them. At first I choked on the price but decided on this kit as it had a lot more projects with good variety.

The construction is durable. We have only broken one item (light bulb) of all the pieces. It is also very easy to snap together with easy to follow instructions.

Snap Circuits has kept both my 7, 9, and 11 year old entertained for the last 3 months. They do learn some things about electronics, but it is more valuable in teaching them to follow step-by-step directions and to correct mistakes when a project does not work. I hope you enjoy it, too. It was worth the price.

5 Stars Recently gifted
My family gifted this toy to my daughter’s best friend for his birthday. He is a 7 year old boy who is very enthusiastic about construction and construction toys. He has only had this toy for a couple of weeks but plays with it for hours at a time and even requested to bring it on his family’s vacation. There are ample experiments to follow and there is room for experimentation, which is where the real learning takes off. I assisted him with the helicopter/fan and light experiments and helped explain the differences in the parts (which were fairly easy to distinguish between). But he was able to pick up the basics fairly quickly and enjoyed it with minimal assistance and supervision thereafter. The snapping circuits are easy to use and marked for easy identification. The circuit snaps held in place and the overall design was solid. This toy seems to provide an excellent opportunity to teach a developing mind circuitry basics especially if they already have a developed interest. I would advise caution with the potential for electrical shorts created by a young child if left unsupervised.

4 Stars Educational and Fun, actually works
I bought this for my 6 and 7 year old boys. The parts are simple enough that they can easily put them together. They enjoy experimenting with the provided diagrams. The parts are color coded and very easy to assemble. My only complaint is that the speaker appears to have developed a short in it. All other parts are very durable.
