User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars challenging
I gave this to my grandson on his 6th birthday, and he can not put it down. He’s getting his parents up at 6:30 am to help him construct projects.

5 Stars Electronic snap circuits
Great product – my grandsons really have enjoyed working with the circuits and making new things. I would buy it again.

5 Stars hours and hours of fun
i brought this kit over 1 month ago. i put them on high shelf. my sons (5 and 7) have been looking at the box for a long time. one day i need to do lots of house work so i took it out and they played it for hours. then i also found out, this kit is not enough for both so i had to get the extreme kit.

i love this because they can experience different kind of connections. this is a good way to stay away from tv.

5 Stars amazing
Our 9 yo made a few projects the first day and radio the next day he got the kit and now he doesn’t want to take it apart, he carries it around the house and listens to his radio when he is home, he puts it on the night stand when he goes to bed, he turns it on first thing in the morning. It replaced all toys, he runs to his radio when he gets home from school. I was afraid this set would be too hard for him to get started, but it’s not, he made everything by himself without any help. We are ready for the upgrade kit. Buy it, this is probably one of the best toys we ever bought for our son, thank you amazon for offering it and special thank you to everyone for your great reviews, they do not lie.

4 Stars Great way to learn about electronics
Snap Circuits have created a great way tool for helping children better understand electronics and electricity without a lot of the mess that comes with other electronics kits. It’s easy to snap together the circuits following the instructions and then describe what’s happening.

Pros: Easy snap interface, hundreds of pre-designed circuits.

Cons: It doesn’t come with much detail on what the components do or how the circuit works, so you need to understand it yourself first or be prepared to do a lot of studying on your own. Also, the integrated circuit components hide a lot of what is happening in those circuits, so some of the educational value is lost.
