2 Stars OK, but be aware of the dark colors may stain the blackboard
These are just regular size chalks in triangular shapes, I am not too impressed. The red and black chalks actually left permanent stains on our Step2 blackboard. I would not buy this product again.
5 Stars Artistic Fun for Kids
I gave these to my nieces and nephews for Christmas and by the time the day was over, we had Christmas art all over the driveway – best part, it washes away with a waterhose or the rain, but we left it there to enjoy it. They were so proud of themselves. Great item.
3 Stars not sidewalk chalk
I like Melissa and doug products.
They need to remove “jumbo” from the label. I was surprised at how thin these are.
This is indoor chalk for writing on black boards. If you use it outdoors (and the package says you can) prepare for every piece to be broken.
It’s nice that they don’t roll.
3 Stars It’s OK
It’s OK. I bought it for indoor use. My son, who is 2 y.o. brakes the sticks every time he hits the chalk board. He is rough on them, I must say. It’s not my complaint though. They are not nice soft chalk pieces that draw well on the board. They are hard and scratchy just like the ordinary outside sticks. On the plus side, they look pretty. They do the job, but not what I expected.
2 Stars Misleading
The product description for this item is misleading. Not only are the pieces of chalk NOT ‘Jumbo’ but they are not designed to be used outside. Those were the two reasons we bought this chalk. 
I do like that they are triangular and don’t roll away, but where you would use them, I’m not sure.
